quote from article
"Not that she's necessarily singing the praises of the song, which was part of a $2,000 package her mother paid to Ark Music Factory, an L.A.-based vanity production company for aspiring teen singers.
The producers offered her two songs, and she settled on "Friday" because, she told the Daily Beast, "The other song was about adult love -- I haven't experienced that yet. 'Friday' is about hanging out with friends, having fun. I felt like it was my personality in that song.""

The point is, this is just some music studio that will let anyone come in and make a couple of music videos for 2k. This was perhaps not meant to be taken seriously.

Christ, this Friday song makes this seem like "Let It Be"

I see my Frans is brilliant.

Her intentionally pronouncing friends the way she did made me want to fucking destroy her.

More importantly, the drive-by shooting scene above was taken from Steven Seagal's "Marked for Death". You're welcome.

If you pull shit like :22, expect a psychopath to mow you down. I hate bikers, and if they were taking the whole road like they were, and ringing their stupid bells, you best expect that i would go play GTA, and get revenge.

Instead of running them over, i would have gotten out and punched that guy in orange.

Odds of her being in hardcore porn shortly after turning 18 at a steady 84% right now.

This song is really terrible, but what everyone needs to realize is that the production company is the one to blame. They hoped they could make Rebecca Black the female version of Justin Bieber, and make a shit load of money. They gave her two songs she could choose between. The first one was about boys and relationships, but Rebecca Black said she felt too young to sing about stuff like that. The other alternative was this disgraceful Friday tune.

What this has become is a mockery of a thirteen year old kid. She's terrible, she can't sing, and she can't pronounce 'Friday'. And now she's turned into a bigger Internet phenomenon than Charlie Sheen. The big difference between the two of them? Charlie Sheen is a grown up adult who has been responsible for everything he has done the last couple of years, and everything his been saying in interviews lately. Rebecca Black is a 13 year old kid which the responsible record company has turned their back against. They wrote the lyrics, they did the directing of the music video and they were responsible for the fucked up audio effects and editing. I'm pretty sure that Rebecca Black was only asked to sing and look cute and innocent. Too bad she couldn't either sing nor look very cute, well than, don't let the front door of the music company hit you in the ass on your way out.

I'm just pissed of that everybody gets out their hatred at this kid, when there really should be a serious discussion about the ethics of the media industry being completely blinded by the dollars. I have not read a single article from the record company where they have taken responsibility for this horrible song, and actually stood up and protected this girl. They are only thinking about the cash flow. They thought they could make millions of dollars out of this girl, well - she turned out to be a flop and now the company moves on. It just pisses me off. In my opinion we're looking at the next drug addicted 'child star' which ends up banging some random rock stars, gets completely fucked up, and - in the worst case - takes her life. Because it's pretty tough, especially for a 13 year old kid, to here day in and they out how terrible you are.

I read that part after I posted. Nevertheless, I think my point about the music/film industry is still valid.
