Game 10: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Philadelphia 76ers | November 18th, 2012 | 6 PM [EST]

Re: Game 10: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Philadelphia 76ers | November 18th, 2012 | 6 PM [E

We don't have a Durant though.

Kyrie is essentially a wash for Westbrook, and last I checked we don't have a 6-11" 2 time scoring champ capable of imposing his will offensively like Durant.

That comparison is so far off it is amazing, because neither Dion or Kyrie will ever be able to change a game and cause the mismatch problems a Durant does.

We are nothing like OKC was.

Waste of a post.

I really didn't expect the Cavs to perform so poorly this season but then I had no ideal that our bench was this bad. Our starters have been playing every team evenly or beating them but then our bench gets massacred. I have never seen anything like it in all of my basketball watching years. If this is some intentional effort by the front staff to keep the tank going, I think it's a terrible strategy. Losses like this are demoralizing to the starters and the fans. No wonder Kyrie and Dion didn't look like they gave a shit tonight, the bench would just blow any lead they might build.

Only question I have.

Is Bob Finnan drunk?

what he was talking about was a young team taking time to find their way. The Cavs are doing alot of good things on the court. defense will be the last piece of the puzzle but once the guys get comfortable with each other and develop a rythm the skys the limit.

Rough game, very hard to watch. This team just needs a win somehow someway to get some confidence back

I clicked see post cause I could tell you were responding to me from the quote in the post above. I have you on ignore and have had you ignore for months now. You might want to not respond to me.

That said, if you actually fucking saw Kevin Durant in year one or two (which you obviously didn't) he didn't look anything like a 2-time scoring champ. He looked like a taller version of Jamal Crawford. Did nothing but shoot (and not well) and was a complete ghost on defense.

Re: Game 10: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Philadelphia 76ers | November 18th, 2012 | 6 PM [E

I'll say it again. The Thunder went 24-58 in Durant's second year. They then won 50 the following year.

Seriously, the Thunder weren't on television much back then, but you guys need to go watch some games of those first two Durant seasons. All he looked like was a chucker and that team looked doomed. Then, with about 20 games left in his second season, they started to click. Westbrook started to look like he had real star potential and that team started winning games against teams it shouldn't have. It really can, and does, flip that easily.

It's not just the Cavs. The fact that the past three years, Cleveland sports (Cavaliers, Browns, Indians) are a combined 270-415. The closest any of those teams came to a .500 record, let alone a playoff birth was the 2011 Indians that went 80-82. I know the Cavs are rebuilding and the Browns are improving, but it's just becoming so taxing to be a Cleveland sports fan these days. If the Buckeyes weren't around, I don't know how I could tolerate sports.

Don't get me wrong. I love Cleveland. Though I was too young to really remember when the Browns were ever any good, I was around in the LeBron era when we were a yearly 50+ win team, and I was around when the Tribe was good in 2005 and 2007.

It's just painful these days.

Seeing how much Casspi and Miles have regressed makes me question the Cavs as an organization. These guys weren't this bad before coming here.
Are they being used wrong?

Casspi was terrible with the Kings in his second year BEFORE he came to the Cavs.

We all got to see how important Boobie is to this team tonight. We had to play Miles and Casspi together tonight and that shit was brutal. Also, last 3 games we played Brook Lopez, Chris Kaman and Spencer Hawes; something about 7 foot white centers kicking our ass makes me uneasy lol. I think we need more length.

Edit to add: Cavs bench 20 - Sixers bench 34. We lost by 7...If we only had a bench.

The Browns have a new owner, so Cleveland has that for them. The Indians are the darkest of the 3.

Casspi was terrible with the Kings in his second year BEFORE he came to the Cavs.

Thank you. There was a reason the Kings were willing to trade Casspi AND a draft pick for JJ Hickson. He was awful his second year, it's just he got more PT so his numbers were inflated. But make no mistake, he's regressed ever since his rookie year.

Re: Game 10: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Philadelphia 76ers | November 18th, 2012 | 6 PM [E

As horrible as the talent on this team is besides Irving and Andy, kyrie really needs to step his playmaking up. I'm tired of looking up and he has less than 5 assist. He has 4 assist in the last 2 games which is pathetic for a PG. If he isn't scoring he shouldn't look as useless as he did tonight. Again I know the talent on this team is minimum
but a great player should make guys look better than what they are. Hell CJ miles looked like a halfway useful player with deron Williams

This is gonna be a loooong rebuild folks. We are far away from making the playoffs, and further from winning a round. TT was a mistake for one and it will push us back. We could of signed Reggie Evans and got the same production. Ok... maybe Im stretching the comparison, but that #4 was just as important as Kyrie. Grant fucking blew it. KL should be playing the 3 right now if they did the correct homework.

A guy like TT can be signed through free agency, or we could could of traded for Hakeem Warrick. You don't understand the hate I have for the pick of TT, I don't hate him, I hope he grows, I just hate the pick.

It has been a long weekend with plenty of tough losses. The people who struggled through both the Browns and Cavaliers games today deserve a better outcome. Let's not completely freak out though. The guards struggled with inconsistent ref calls. The bench did their usual rigmarole aside from Zeller. Its going to happen.
