Michigan State alum here that has watched every minute of every game this season. I have also seen a large majority of all the buckeye games.

Both teams have struggled against lesser opponents, but I think the buckeyes hand my spartys a good beating on Saturday. This is not the MSU team of a couple of years ago with an outstanding defense. Actually the defense is the weaker side of the ball this year for MSU. Super young secondary that makes a lot of mistakes. Plus the team struggles against mobile QBs. We are so aggressive blitzing that the QB will scramble out of the pocket and that is where it really breaks down for MSU. Defensive discipline and gap coverage is a big problem. I'm expecting another JT superman performance from him this year. Last year he went absolute video game style on MSU in the 2nd half.

After the loss to Nebraska I took off my green shaded glasses and really looked at the team. Quickly came to the realization that this MSU isn't a playoff team currently. Below are the shortcomings.
  • Very weak secondary
  • Poor defensive gap coverage when plays break down
  • Bad FG kicker (expect a fake or going for it on 4th down in the red zone)
  • Horrible punt coverage
  • Weak running game
  • Injured Connor Cook. When Cook is "on" he is one of the best in college football, but honestly he isn't very often. His accuracy drives me insane. He always throws high. He does step up in big games though. We will see.....
  • The defense and running game isn't good enough to close out games. Cook can close out a game, but MSU gets conservative with the lead and runs it.
This game is either going one of two ways.
  1. JT puts on his superman cap and eats MSU alive. OSU wins in convincing fashion. (most likely)
  2. MSU D steps up and this is a tight game till the end. Probably due to weather. OSU is forced to throw less and run the ball more against a pretty good run D. I fully expect Zeke to get his though.

Yeah, I pretty much feel the same way. Hence my 42-24 prediction.
 
MSU going to get ass tapped. On to the next one. Plan on being drunk by half time.

7am shower beer. Only way to go. Plan on "feelin' good" by around 11am. Don't want to be completely shit faced by game time, so going to slowly keep drinking up until 1 then just fuckin' hit it.

Also...these give me chills every time. I will post my Gameday sign tonight once I finish it. Looked at some pictures and drew em out. May end up printing off a picture of The Shoe if it doesn't look right colored.

ESPN got a look into the locker room and it had the NCG uni's all over.
