3 Keys for Cavalier Victory:

1) Keep building good habits- The Cavaliers have been poster children for textbook basketball recently - offense and defense both. Continue, as Mike Brown says, to get better on every possession. Every opponent, no matter how weak or strong, is a stepping stone to a championship.

2) Dictate YOUR pace - Yes, we can run. Yes we can play halfcourt. However, last time Indiana lured us into a track meet. Make Indiana adjust to YOU.

3) Don't give Danny Granger any airspace - Granger's a beast. You're not going to stop him. However, he showed a real quick trigger last time and nailed a lot of those shots. Make him shoot with at least a hand in his face all night.

I think whoever wins the battle of the boards will take this one. pacers shoot a lot of jump shots off drive and kick, so the cavs will have to keep them off the offensive glass.

Indiana are in a tough patch. Lakers, Boston then Cleveland. Considering they are missing the 2nd best player in Dunleavy, they have hung tough. They have beaten both the top 2 teams in the NBA, so underestimating them may have disatrous consequences.

They are tough on the boards, have decent size, a quick point guard and a couple of shooters. This team healthy is a playoff team in my opinion.

I'd be more concerned if we were away for this one, but as it is I think we stand a pretty good chance. We'll be catching Indiana in the toughest part of any NBA schedule this year. vs LAL, @BOS, @CLE, vs BOS. That's just brutal.

The Cavs strong play should make the players greedy.

I hope the Cavs are thinking: crush the Pacers, rest the starters, and be ready to beat the Bobcats on Saturday night. I'm not saying get complacent but if the goal is to get the #1 or #2 seed in the conference, tonight's game is about both tonight and tomorrow night.

Cavs next 6 games are 3 back-to-backs with the 2nd game on the road, so they will get plenty of practice with this challenge.
