Time for Camakazee's neat-o stats of the night,
(Sponsored by: Z the Bounty Hunter).
Offensive History.
- Tonight marks the first time in Cavaliers history that LeBron James has recorded double digit points, yet was outscored by
five of his teammates.
Third quarter curse?
As Mr.
Karma pointed out, it appears as though our usual third quarter curse is a thing of the past. It has haunted Cavs fans for the last few seasons as well as the beginning of this season. Here's how this season started out, and how it has progressed:
- First 8 games: 1 win, 4 losses, and 3 ties in the third quarter.
- Last 11 games: 7 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties in the third quarter.
Mo money, No problems.
- Tonight Mo Williams put up 17 points and 4 assists on 7 of 9 shooting. The 77.8% shooting represents his best fg% so far as a Cavalier.
Z for Threeeeeeeee.
- Tonight Zydrunas Ilgauskas made his 9th three pointer of his career. That marks the fourth of this season, the most he's ever made in a single season.
Time to drive it home:
Just to emphasize the way this team has been winning this year, here's an updated look at a stat I've already used several times this season.
- In 07-08, in 45 wins, the Cavaliers recorded 10 double digit victories (10/45).
- So far in 08-09, in 16 wins, the Cavaliers have recorded 13 double digit victories (13/16).
View from the other side:
- Former Cavalier Stephen Graham recorded a season high 14 points in tonight's game.
- Unfortunately for Pacer fans, Danny Granger recorded a season low of 4 points in the same game.
