Last seasons highlights

Adam's Keys to the game:
It's early days and the Cavs are still not at full health. Having said that with the way they handled the Grizz at the end of last year they should be favourites to win. Love is ZBos worst possible match up and the Cavs have loads of size to handle Gasol. Mo Williams guarding Conley will be are main problem and how Blatt manages that will be key to the outcome.

  1. Control Conley in the pick and roll
  2. Rebound and run
  3. Avoid turnovers
  4. Plenty of KLove touches at the elbow and three point line
From the preseason game we saw Randolph scared to go into the key against Moz but make it rain from the perimeter, look for him to keep chucking and hopefully missing. Grizz kept the Cavs score low but it was only half the team and LBJ didnt set foot in the paint the entire game so I wouldn't worry about it

Grizz Girls (slim pickings TBH)

thats a brutal back to back to start the season... in Chi and Mem we have two of the best defensive Teams and most physically taxing Teams to play against.

I mean we almost beat Chicago so i can see this one beeing close as well and then in the end we will see what happens.

their offense is hard to watch, we got this in the bag.

Memphis is basically a glorified Chicago. Obviously they have talent in other positions, but the style is eerily similar, and Memphis is better at it. We are coming off a back-to-back but have a bit more experience. I'm thinking Memphis gets a two possession win. I'll go 95-91, Grizzlies. With that said, I'd still probably bet on the Cavs. Should be a good (read: sloppy as all hell) game.

Sucks I have no option but the Grizzlies feed tonight (Thanks Uverse) but hoping we get our first win of the season tonight. Might be daunting with their bigs.

They are getting 6 earlier. Cavs is a smart bet.

The thing that Memphis lack that the Bulls now have is a stretched floor and multiple playmakers on the perimeter cavs either matchups and have depth upfront to do it with kaun and Andy or go smaller and have a huge advantage with either Gasol or Randolph on love for large stretches

Our team was in the Finals last year and we get to start with a road back to back?

Lol.

I see what you're saying, but as an out-of-towner I selfishly love that our home opener is on Friday. Gives me the opportunity to take the day off of work to head to Cleveland, have a nice pregame dinner, drink some Christmas Ales, go to the game, and then party afterwards with no fucks given about getting home at a certain time or how I feel the next day.

Same here but it is because I live in Memphis and they block out League Pass to show it on FOX.
Amazingly there are still tickets available in the terrace (upper deck) for this one.

We will probably lose this one too.
I couldn't give half a shit, tbh.

Just want to see Love progress, JR getting his rhythm, Moz being a defensive force and everybody healthy.

I'm stuck bc apparently LP for Uverse tv only airs 1 feed of every game and its usually the home feed, satellite let me choose the feed :( but at least I won't miss a game.
