Game 2 Cleveland Cavaliers (0-1) @ Memphis Grizzlies (0-0) October 28th 2015 8pm

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The 1997 Indians had the sickest lineup ever put together. How they managed to not win still boggles my mind.
Having said that, this team, if healthy, might be one of the greatest ever put together when all is said and done. I still, for just five to eight minutes in a single game, want to see Mo, KI, JR., Love, and LeBron at the 5. We will give up some buckets, but we will score them as well

1997 loss was sickening. Mesa choked. The Marlins were a great team that was built for the playoffs, but Mesa just flat choked.

The '95 lineup may have been better than the '97 one.

Was an unbelievable lineup.

They just went up against a pitching staff that was just as great in Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz and Avery.

So collectively Mo and RJ have had more solid games this season, than Marion, Mike Miller, James Jones and Haywood combined for, last season...right?

Just want to make sure we can all agree on that.

James Jones had some big moments for us last year.

The 95 lineup was way better, one of the best lineups ever. Amazing, too, since Omar was still awful offensively. 97 was an underachieving team that only got into the playoffs because the division was awful. They also got hot at the exact right time and had a fantastic bullpen in those playoffs. And let's not forget that the nightmare 9th doesn't occur without Tony Fernandez' boot of a routine ground ball. Both were big reasons we were even there and both biffed that 9th. I guess what turns that knife even more is both Fernandez and Mesa were critical to the team even being there- Mesa had been the teams best reliever during the season and Tony had a few big hits in the playoffs.

I'm so happy about all this depth.

Griffin had a perfect offseason, really. Couldnt get better than that. Ideal backup PG, great backup SF in Jefferson (I never expected him to be nearly that good), a great great player to develop in Cunningham, he kept all the guys, added Kaun who could actually be useful down the road...

I'm thrilled. This game was just beautiful. Not even that much concerned about LeBron, actually his jumper was improved. He played like an old man, but he'll have plenty of time to rest. The time he was on the court, he didn't have to do much.

Oh and Delly looks incredibly confident. What a difference a year makes. I never rated him much, and everyone who rated him 1 yr ago is looking damn right. I'll happily eat crow.

He does. Will be even better when he is in his correct role.
