Game 24, Cavs v. LA Clippers; Wednesday, Feb 8th @ 7pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I can understand wanting the Cavs to lose games, but deciding at this moment to criticize the Cavs for winning (without Irving/etc.) against a team that came in at 15-7 (admittedly, minus Billups) just reads like sour grapes.

What Byron and the non-Irvings managed tonight was quite impressive, even for fans who don't like the big picture. You should be happy the Cavs beat a Western Conference team that isn't in competition with them for a playoff spot or for lottery position. They need to lose to teams like the Bucks, Knicks, and Kings...all of whom are coming up. :chuckles:

I don't feel like starting a winning/losing argument -- other threads for that. Just thought it was funny to see so many posters complain about a surprising win by an undermanned team.

another pointless win leading to a worse draft pick.
I know, I can't wait to lose, netting a high draft pick. Hopefully we lose next year too, maybe get a top 5 in 2014. Losing is great.

I think I've definitely let it be known that I'm a ping pong guy, but that was one ENJOYABLE win. Nothing wrong at all with getting a W getting everyone involved, playing feisty and not backing down.

The ends of these game threads are becoming awesome. When the Cavs win, we get the crew angry at Byron and the team for not tanking. When they lose, we get the crew who hates Byron's rotations and most of the team. Lose-lose. It's funny stuff to read.

The way I look at it : GMs over are going to be wondering how we are winning and see Sessions, Varejao, Boobie and Jamison playing well. We cant expect to get trade offers for them if we dont play well and win can we ?

Sessions ahd 13 assist jon will be active on the kyrie boards for a couple days

Welcome to Cleveland...

Anyone feel after looking @ todays game and yesterdays game that the NBA told the Cavs not to win in Miami as the few people that come will also stop coming if the Heat lose to the Cavs. Just a conspiracy theory.

Problem. what if samardo s gets consistent. Eyenga gets confidence and Gee continues playng lights out. throw in a healthy thompson and developing star guard in kyrie irving are set loose . while it may not be enough to beat winning teams the teams below the Cavs will still have problems.

as weve seen eyenga and samuels lose playing tme not because they suck but because they arent plying to scotts expectations.. theres a difference

Kinda OT but How good does that Tony Battie trade look, AV is a STUD and he was a throw in with Drew Gooden... crazy how trades cant be evaluated for several years

I think more people are calling this a "useless" win because when we win we like to see Irving and Thompson develop.

Some people just need to accept reality here.
