While Atlanta is 7-1 at home...look at who they played in those 8 games:

Philadelphia W 95-88
Toronto W 110-92
New Jersey L 107-119 *only the great NBA Super POWER Nets could beat them at home! :chuckles:
Washington W 91-87
Charlotte W 88-83
Milwaukee W 102-96
Memphis W 105-95
New York W 98-95 *yes they were completely healthy this game and barely pulled this off.


Even though we are shorthanded, it looks like they finally have to play a real team at home now... lets see how the Hawks and their fans respond for the first time.

This is a team that is in the running for the third seed in the east, took the champs to 7 games last year because they won all 3 on their homecourt and we are coming in hurt while they are healthy.

A win tonight by the cavs would be an upset. We are 4.5 point favorites, but that because the betting public isnt as knowledgeable enough to know better. If we dont get healthy, a win at denver will be very difficult too. Even with Z, it wil be tough. But hey, how sweet would victory #12 in a row look.

We should be favored in just about any game we play, because we have the best player on the planet playing on our team. As game 5 of the ECF showed, with LeBron on your team, anything is possible.

Thats a reason to win some games you shouldnt, not a reason to always be favored.
 
will be a tough one...we can win if lebron takes over,mo make some noise and the rest of the team play defense and knock down their shots
 
I live in Atlanta, and watch pretty much every game for the hawks, so here's my keys to the game:

Get off to fast start. The hawks always get off to slow starts, if we can get a double digit lead in the 1st or 2nd quarter it will be a plus.

Don't let up. The hawks were down double digits early to the mavs, Spurs, and rockets and fought back and narrowly lost. We have to keep the intensity and not let them fight back in the 3rd quarter.

Joe Johnson was hurt last time we played, which is why he struggled, and i dont think brother red can stop him when he's on his game, Nobody can. Sasha is going to play a big role in this game imo just trying to slow him down.

We will be extra motivated to win this and get the franchise record for most wins in a row...
 
We'll win tonight and Tuesday,the streak will be at 13 and I'm guessing Boobie and Big Z will be back vs Denver on Friday :thumbup:
 
I trust Brother Red...he won't get embarrassed by Joe Johnson

The key here is to buckle-up defensively. We are missing 2 of our key scorers so we should show up big time on the other end.
 
This is our toughest game since Detroit, but this team has done too well this year for me not to give them the benefit of the doubt. Obviously I would be more comfortable with Z and Boobie, but right now I'm predicting wins until they lose one.
 
Back to back short handed against a team playing very well at home. Tough ask for anybody! Both teams are playing their 4th game in 5 nights. Mental toughness may win the day, and I think we have a touch more.
 
If Z and Boobie were playing, mostly Z, I'd have this one marked down as a W.

Well, I still do, but it's much harder having a back-to-back when two key guys are out.
 
Were gonna have to dig deep on this one.......this will be a good test of how good of a team we are........
