Game 26 | Cavs (15-10) vs Grizzlies (21-5) | December 21, 2014 | 4:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What is most exciting is 34 of 46 buckets assisted with not one but two players in double digit assists.

Gasol shows we need a defensive center, we knew that, but today shows we can still win a game with great offensive even when we get owned underneath but the leagues best all around center.

I'll keep stating this cause this bothers me so much,
Kevin Love's body language is really bad, he is looking tired, depressed and frustrated out there even if the team is winning convicingly..
Right now with the contribution he is giving I rather have Wiggin's fire and mentality regardless of scoring output.
Sucks to say it though

You are a horrible poster.

You'd rather have Wiggins than Kevin Love?

Okay.

You're only saying this because you would take an un-proven rookie over an all-star. Calm down.

If he isn't scoring, he is rebounding.

It was one bad quarter where Gasol was calling his shot against our entire front court rotation, not just Love. But I gotta say, I didn't see anyone outside of a few players giving no effort like is being claimed. Love's last few plays of the game, where his effort was being questioned, he was challenging shots at the rim.

That was a really fun game. I'll admit that I was worried pre-game. Waiters had a really nice game. Love Mike Miller on this team.

Yeah Love kinda knew he wasn't going to get the ball with Kyrie/Dion/LeBron all having good games and getting to the rim.

He had a pretty frustrating night the game before and today he probably had 2 sub double digit outings in a row which is probably something he hasn't experienced since he was a rookie.

It's a frustrating part of the game that Bosh was commenting on before.

Okay.

No, I don't.
I just don't see what Love bring to the table that Hawes couldn't just by how he's being utilised..

Hawes hasn't been doing much for the Clippers since he's been hurt for a while, so....

You said that right now you'd rather have Wiggins' fire and mentality.

Kevin Love brings more as a decoy and as a rebounder, even on an off-shooting night, than whatever "fire and mentality" you are talking about.

Yeah dude, I myself have given Love a hard time for a few games, but I wouldn't for this game. He looked a little frustrated about his shot but I saw a few times where he actually played good, respectable physical defense out there and I like that a lot.

The thing this team needs to understand is that it's okay to foul to stop a layup every now and then. Don't make it easy for shooters to get in their rhythm. That's all a defensive center is gonna do anyway, get their hands up and contest shots. It's more effort and size than anything else.
