This team is going to have a hard time beating any team until they learn even rudimentary defensive skills.

Serious lack of professional pride among some of the players on this roster.

Letting the Raptors, who are God freaking awful, come into your home court and treat you like a prison bitch because you can't be bothered to give a half an ounce of effort is fucking ridiculous.

People on this board like this shit because of the tank, but it is this loser mentality where you become OK with giving piss poor efforts and not playing any defense that keeps teams in the lottery year after year.

You'd think at some point some of these young 1st round picks we have would be embarrassed, but sadly some of them seem to lack that "shame" gene and they are just fine with bad team after bad team punking them.

I can deal with losing, but the effort issue bothers the shit out of me because irregardless of talent you can always bust your ass out there and at least pretend like you care. That message is not being listened to by most of this roster.

I have noticed the past few games (since the article about Big Z working with TT) that he has acquired a gathering move where he leans into the chest of the defender and then shoots when the player is on his heels. Has been working pretty well and allows him to get some shots off. He may have been one of the lone bright spots for me tonight. Was a frustrating game...

It's called a rebuild. Outside of draft picks, this team has done nothing to improve the on court product. We're not trying to put a good team on the court...yet.

If we were doing everything possible to put a winner on the court, and we were 5-21, I'd agree. At this point, we're not.
