Game 27 | Cavs (16-10) vs T-Wolves (5-21) | December 23, 2014 | 7:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Robbed blind is a poor choice of words. Could Minnesota have gotten a stud? Yes, but it's too early to tell. Wiggins has all the tools, but he is lacking the mentality right now. Tonight, he showed what he can do when he has the right mentality. AB has been disappointing considering is okay start. And I'd rather have the 1st round pick than Thad Young, but he is okay and maybe they can trade him for some picks at the deadline.

They robbed us of a pick at least. There was no reason we should have given it to them considering they only had Love for 1 more year anyway.

Bennett was pretty much a throw in. Love for Wiggins and a pick is what the trade came down to.

Lol i'm so obessed with the 1st round that we gave, I can't get over it.. could someone give me some tips?

Won't the pick be in the 20s? It should if the Cavs keep playing well, which I think they will.

Get over it lol

It was the Miami pick. Last I checked they were struggling so that pick could fall in the mid to late teens.

Maybe we could have held out...I don't know, but it sure would have been handy in building a really formidable roster along with the Memphis pick, the MLE, and Haywood's expiring. Oh well.

Had we kept the pick I think we would have a great shot at adding some serious talent. Even though they are late in the first round its still attractive trade bait for teams that are rebuilding. They would see the 2 picks in a deal and their eyes would light up.

With 1 first rounder, TPE and maybe a hot shooting Waiters ehh Im not sure the kind of talent we can get back. I don't think it will be enuff to push us up into the serious contender talk. We will see

Probably could of had both if Grant drafted Oladipo :bigcry:

We wouldn't have been nearly so awful last year if we had had Oladipo. And we had to be that awful to get the first pick and get Mike Brown fired. You never know how things would have turned out, if we hadn't gotten the #1 pick and Blatt. It's the butterfly effect: small changes in input can lead to huge changes in output.

I hated that effort as much as I hated this game being on NBAtv (will get to that later)...

Sure it was a win and sure it became a blowout in the end of the 3rd on but this team's body language is horrible. The only thing I agreed with NBAtv on was with a championship mentality, you put a team like this away real quick to rest and move on and Cleveland never does that or so it seems this young season. I just wish they didn't look past an opponent, sure its human nature, but once I want to see just an amazing night of basketball with a motivtated squad and we get that in spurts but nothing more.

I'll take the win and it did seem better as they gained the lead but this team keeps saying they get wake up calls, the last being the Hawks game, but tonight didn't seem to show that.

Plus, I hope Andy's anke is sore and nothing more. The Cavaliers cannot afford for him to miss any significant time.

Onto it being on NBAtv. I can tolerate games any day but Tuesday but on Fan Nights, they rather be in the studio breaking down every play rather than actually show the game live. Tonight was horrible with the gimmicky in studio audience and them showing a spit screen with the live game. News flash, no one cares what a 40 yr old Hawk fan feels about the Hawks. If someone is tuning into NBA tv at the time, they want to watch LIVE BASKETBALL. Plus I don't understand how they botch a 20 second time out and run commercials long. I don't think the guys there actually listen...Fred repeated it was just a 20 like 3 times.

I don't care about the pick in that way, I see it as a trading asset that is big to rebuilding teams..

Missed the game today. But just going through the box-score, it seems Kyrie and Dion had very good games while Love had a good end to the game. Happy for Dion. He seems to be turning the corner and him being fully confident would be a massive boost in the play-offs.

Shame regarding Andy's injury though. Hopefully, it ain't that bad and he recover soon.
