GAME 28 | Cavs vs Rockets | Dec. 23, 2008 | 7:00 PM

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just seems to me like the Rockets lack chemistry on the court. And Artest is a nutcase. Those two things alone should be enough to keep them down.

Man, some people are never happy even after a Cavs win over a great team. If the only wins that counted as "legit" were against "elite" teams at full strength, with a couple days rest, you'd get about 5 quality wins a year.

By this logic, the Cavs should have a huge win streak going since we lost to ATL with no Z or Boobie, a game we certainly woulda won if they had played. But nobody talks about that,

hey i don't mind being critical, that way we don't get cocky and dissappointed

Only got to see the second half.

But then when I checked the boxscore... OMG!

I was wondering, based a lot on Real_Talk's anticipation, how McGrady did... 4 POINTS! That's hilarious. Yao looked fantastic til the very end but still only had 19-5. Great job Cavs!

1 point from chalupas...:(

It looks like Real_Talk got banned, and that thread deleted.

Adelman and McGrady both said afterwards that it became clear pretty quickly that he had nothing left for tonight's game. The only guys who had it going in the 2nd half were Alston (first game back from injury) and Yao Ming (barely played till the 4th).

I agree that the game didn't really "test" much (under the circumstances of Houston tiring) but it was a high-intensity, entertaining game. And it gave the Cavs the opportunity to go against a high quality defense yet still score nearly 100.

This is sadness, because my post calling him Damon Jones was classic, and I was hoping to see a response to it from him. :(

I think the cavs did a good job this game. They haven't been in many of these kinds of games this season and did well to keep their composure. Houston play probably the most physical defense you can leagally play. I don't see how they can whine to the refs so much.

Cavs overcame a 4th quarter run and managed to execute well the entire game. Turnovers were a bit high but i just put that down to houstons great defense.

On a more personal note, i think the cavs go a bit jump shot happy at times, luckily we now have players who can hit them. Last two games i have seen a lot of possessions where the ball just moves around the perimeter for 20 seconds without ever really challenging the basket.

mo really stepped up big like he always did for us....great win and i still cant believe we got the W...i still think we depend on lebron too much but this is what makes him lebron i guess:rolleyes:

Wish I could have gotten the Rockets broadcast tonight, cause if they're anything like this on a regular basis, it would have been hilarious...

I paid the refs that game. Acually, i paid the announcers to seem like the refs were one sided.

Really, Yao shot a crap load of FTs in the 4th and the Rockets were in the penalty super early in the 4th.

That's how the game goes. Teams that are aggressive get rewarded. HOU was in the 4th, but not in the 3rd. And Ron got superstar calls over LBJ.

I listened to their broadcast. That was one painful experience.
