Game 29: Cleveland Cavaliers @ Boston Celtics - December 28th, 2013 - 1 P.M [EST]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think Sergey is active, the box score only lists 11 players. CJ was awful tonight. It's either 3 guards or 3 bigs. Clark is just as out of position as Waiters or Jack playing the 3. And whatever we changed in the 2nd half has contained Green, who killed us in the first half.

Sergei is with the Canton Charge for the weekend.

At the end of the day :)chuckles:) Dion did have Bass on him which was a mismatch he rightfully exploited. Bad results but we were in a good situation to tie the game with that matchup. Only problem I have was him quitting on the game after the missed shot.

And I'm not even surprised at how poorly of a play Mike Brown ran out of the timeout. Our quickest trigger(CJ) wasn't even on the floor. He had TT out there even though he's not a threat to shoot 3s. The guy is an idiot and it showed.

Brown drawing up that play at the very end of the timeout as Clark was already going back out to play. WTF....and Kyrie no where in site when he should be shooting. Just painful to watch.

Great ball movement in the fourth quarter. Dion took the ball to the whole because he had Brandon Bass switched onto him and Dion had just drove the exact way and gotten an easy layup. Not going to complain about that possession. I also think he got fouled because he was by Bass yet somehow jumping at a guy to hip check him is legal as long as your arms are up in the air.

They played nice team basketball in the fourth and that's how they were ever in a position to make the game close. Kyrie still did his thing but he got help from those around him.

This fourth quarter was a positive sign.

AB played some good minutes

They fought back down 20? in the 4th quarter

We move on

dion did have Bass on him. probably could have sent him flying with half a pump fake.

Attacking Bass was the right play. When he didn't get by Bass he should have come under control and either passed it or try to get Bass off balance and create a foul. I guess they all need to learn how to play late in games.

That's what happens when you don't allow Kyrie to be Kyrie during the last minute.

Dion got a good mismatch with Bass. You're a fool if you don't want him taking that matchup with the game on the line when Kyrie was being hounded by Avery Bradley.

The Cavs talent isn't as awful as we think. Mike Brown is as awful as we think.

I don't mind Dion taking the last shot, but going to your left? Really? Bad idea. Not fouling was completely idiotic. There was time for us to have a couple of more possessions.

And Brown drawing up final plays is hilarious. Let's get Kyrie running away from the ball so it takes a pin point pass to get it to him. Just awful. Only good news is Bennett got some burn and made some quality basketball plays to go along with his mishaps. A loss is a loss. Battling back from down 24 means nothing. Just like losing close games to Miami and Portland means nothing.

Dion should really learn how to attack leaning into the defender's body. With his RB build he can absorb contacts with bigs and still finish. That last shot attempt could be a free throw if he did not leaned away from Bass.

CJ Miles has been atrocious since coming back from injury, including today when he didn't register a single made field goal.

Earl Clark is one of the better 3 point shooters on this team and is tall enough to get the shot off. He also had it going from that range today. Why the fuck the dumbass dribbled rather than shoot is not Mike Brown's fault.

It's extremely difficult to get a good look at a 3 when the other team knows that's what you need. The thought process was probably to use a guy the other team didn't expect, but is a good shooter, and is big enough to get his shot off over a defender. Kyrie would have had 2 people following him around the entire possession.

That play could have been a whole lot worse.

I think we're 1.5 game/s behind for the last spot.

If the Cavs are anything close to a playoff team, then a higher power has successfully diluted the NBA teams from fine wines into bottled water.

If Zeller and Bennett continue to get minutes I'm actually pretty excited for the upcoming games.

I'm glad Dion fought back tonight. Rather than having one of those 5 points on 2/5 shooting games he has every so often. Far from a perfect night but eh.

I'll drink that kool-aid.

I was pleased with Irvings play tonight and it was a big factor in allowing the team to come back. him and waiters combined for 21 points and everyone touched the ball.

looking forward to the warriors game
