Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cavs just need to Post up on Miami its their biggest weakness, they cant defend big, so they foul and close the driving lanes make miami a jump shooting team!

Listen, troll. I speak for the rest of RCF when I say we are tired of your blatant homerism! Take that stuff to a Miami board and stop preaching your beliefs that you think your team is superior.

:chuckles:

j/k of course!

hopefully Z comes alive and our team controls this game from both sides of the floor and REBOUND the got dam ball from the tipoff to when we receive the W:chuckles:

I hate to burst your bubble, but thats not gonna happen, thats the reason I left the Miami threads I couldnt take any more HOMERISM...Yes I love the miami heat, Been a fan even before wade arrived. Although Wade is my favorite player, I am not biased and I do bealive Lebron is better in so many ways. I do like to offer my insight since Ive joined this board every now and again, I used to be an assistant scout 4 years ago, for FSU basketball team. But I guess you guys are so used to trolls that I dont blame ya...

I can't believe LeBron is already 24. I seriously cannot believe it. I swear it feels like a year ago I was watching his first game. It is kinda sad. 6 years in the league already. His career is like 1/3 over and we still don't have a championship. Wow, time flies.

LeBron could last well into his 40s, so less than a third.

And... 24... WOW!!! That's young. It may feel like he's been around a while, but look how far we've come in such short time. If he wins a ring this year, it will be far younger than Jordan, and he has more than 2/3 of his career left. Just gotta look at this thing glass half full.

Most teams would die for someone at 24 and at LeBron talent to START rebuilding, not to be currently finishing the build. For instance, the Knicks think they'll win everything forever if they get LeBron on their shitty team a year from now.

LeBron has had a great start to his career and has broken many records. Now he has a shot to create a legacy of team success to cap all of that and possibly become the greatest of all time.

A few observations from watching the Heat vs Cavs round 1:

*This Heat team is now a very good defensive squad. There is a very good reason Beasley comes off the bench while Chalmers starts. Rothstein is running the defense, and Spoelstra clearly bows to what he feels is necessary. They do that Cavs thing with the bigmen off pick-and-rolls, and they do it well. With so many dissapointments in the lower-half of the East, this is a big-time sleeper team for the rest of the season.

*Z looks like his injury is still bothering him. I give him credit (as I have since the mid-90's) for gutting through the pain, but the man is a tad limited in jumping right now.

*Magliore has dropped a lot of weight and can challenge us in limited minutes. The big Canadian is almost cat-like again, but has no stamina.

*Thank Bob Chalmers is banged up. because the Cavs wildly under-estimated him in the first matchup. He was the true catalyst for thier success in the first half.

*Chris Quinn is the best warm-ups shooter I have seen for a long while... I don't think he can defend us, but we better put a body on him.

*Haslem and the entire Heat team seemed very chippy at the end of the last game. I have a feeling that they believe the elbow to Haslem was an attempt to intimidate their "hot shooter." They were mean-mugging the Cavs big time when Haslem came back on the floor and their lead was gone. To summarize: they will be very motivated on their home floor.

* Sasha played over 15 minutes at the Q against these guys? Really? I could have sworn I saw the big bald ghost of Christmas Past, reminding us all what it was like years ago... I'd love to see some Hickson or Jackson in his place as a wrinkle.

24 just feels old when talking about LeBron for some reason. I still see him as like a 20-21 year old kid. I still think its sad. 5 1/2 freakin years have gone by already. I want my championship LeBron. Come on already.

Heard today on Sun sports the Mario chalmers might not be in the starting lineup for tommorows game. Marcus banks might be starting, look to see chris quinn getting some minutes in too.

This is what I didn't get. Sasha coming in when LeBron goes to the bench? Cool. But why go small ball with West-Gibson-Sasha-LeBron-Andy when we need to attack Miami's lack of size? Throwing in JJ with Andy or Ben out there would provide more athleticism, length, shot blocking, and match-up problems than with our Serbian friend.

I used to be very high on Banks when he was younger and had hoped the Cavs would get him when his name came up several times. I just don't know what happened, though. Seemed like he had so much skill and potential but nothing really came of him. He did play a nice role for you guys last year in only 21 minutes, albeit in a losing effort.

I still can't believe the 8 second violation he got last game :chuckles:

For a second I forgot that existed in the league.

Camakazee: we need to find out what our rotation will look like without Wally pretending to be a power forward, since he is injured and has a 50-75% chance of not being with us during the playoffs.

I don't care what my knowledgeable good buddy Karma claims, Sasha isn't cut out for the role Wally has played as the 3/4 when LeBron impersonates a power forward. He is a perimeter player without any defensive instincts for the post. Offensively he is the perimeter equivalent of Darko in the post, for better or worse. Wally might not be physically cut out for defensive post play and has embarrassed himself when his shot is off, but he at least knows his spacing and positioning, offensively gets aggresive, and generally tries his best to put up a fight.

We are in full agreement that the rookies must get some time at the 4 on the road.
