Game 32 | Cavaliers vs Bulls Jan 2nd, 7:30PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Great preview Wahoo, as usual. I'm really hoping the Miami loss was a wake up call that we have not been playing Cavalier basketball as of late. We preach "one game at a time", and for tomorrow we should treat it as the most important game of the season. I've felt we've lost our drive lately, time to kick it into high gear for 2009.

Other hopefuls:
1) Gordon is contained by our defensive pressure. He's a streaky shooter, but for some reason he can be dubbed a "Cavs killer" more times than not. Hit him hard and get him frustrated early, let him chuck up shots to lead to easy baskets on our side.

2) Boobie plays well, he needs it.

3) We have ourselves a blowout game to let the NBA know that the games of late were the fluke, not our dominant play from earlier. Let's build some confidence for our next important game, and keep the ball rolling.

I'm hoping for Boobie to have a solid showing, and maybe Sasha could not embarrass himself when he fills in for Wally today.

Hopefully they just give more minutes to JJ though.

Larry goes for 45, dunks over Andy again.. But Boobie hits the game winner...

OK, I'm dreaming.. But if MLK can do it, why can't I?

Wait...

You're comparing Dr. King's dream of racial integration, peace, and prosperity to your dream of having the Cavs win a nail-biter at home against a sub-.500 team, while allowing a much maligned former Cavalier to put up the most points by a single player against the Cavs defense this year?

Wow.

From the Chicago Tribune preview article for the game. Pretty funny quotation, both about how Hughes is 'ready' for the challenge, and then says "It's just a basketball game". Huh?

Get ready, Thabo Sefolosha. Look out, Larry Hughes. Sharpen those elbows, Andres Nocioni.

Here comes King James.

With Luol Deng still sidelined with a sprained left ankle, the bulk of the unenviable task of guarding LeBron James will fall on those three players Friday night in Cleveland.

"I'm ready," said Hughes, James' former teammate. "I don't have a problem with it. He's definitely a tough match for anybody in this league. You try to cut out some of the things that he likes to do. It's just a basketball game."

I'd like to see Darnell get some minutes. I miss our rookies. That is the main reason I wanna see some blowouts again.

our bench to actually put up stats this game:cool:

jj may most likey get mins even if it is little

oh my god larry guarding lebron...how does larry even begin to attmpt to guard lebron? At the first bit of contact larry will turn to dust.

I think it important that we win this game convincingly.

Come on Wally, lets not be dissapointed after your rest.

ha just put lebron on the left block and use this game to get our shooters on track, it would be great if delonte could start challangin 40% from deep, he shot so well early on.

With Z out it does mean we will witness some lorezen wright ugly fouline jumpers

Oh don't get all insane on me.. Jesus, the whole post was clearly a joke. You actually took it seriously, but hey, that's how it is over the internet.. Though I tossed in a smiley to let everybody know it was a joke.

Was I comparing it? Hell no, of course not. Its a simple joke, but you can take it for what it's worth.. I could careless to be completely honest with ya.

The Cavs need to jump on them early and just pound the ball inside..
