Keys To the Game

1: Having at least one player at all 5 positions

The Cavs don't have a SF, but Tobias Harris kinda sucks too so that won't be a big issue. If Vucevic sits after twisting his ankle the other night the Magic will be without a center, which is a much bigger issue. They're 0-4 without him so far this year, including a 38 point mauling at the hands of the Knicks.

2: Rookies Not Sucking

Oladipo started off the year hot, but shot just 38% from the field and 24% from 3 in December and saw his minutes dwindle to 17 in Tuesday's loss to the Warriors. The Cavs have two rookies in Bennett and Dellavedova, either of whom could potentially not suck, which mathematically gives them a bit of an advantage here.

3: Wanting To Win

Orlando GM Rob Hennigan's New Years resolution was two words long: Andrew Wiggins (Chris Grant's New Years resolution was similar, but probably involves a prospect in the 5-10 range instead). That means the Magic have a lot more losing to do if they want to make Hennigan's dream come true, and that should give the Cavs an edge in this game.

Battle of the titans.

Kyrie or not, if we don't win this game, we have serious issues.

first win of a 7 game win streak. LET'S GOOOOOOOO

I see a good game from Bennett tonight (not just because it's the Magic). I've really liked his energy lately.

Two games in a row the designated thread maker makes the thread. Good show.

We have serious issues when our coach is about to start Jarrett Jack instead of Waiters. Just stubborn.

I will personally drive to Cleveland and bonk potato head if he fucking starts Jack over Dion if Kyrie is a no-go tonight. With that, Kyrie better start and go Cavs!

I know a lot of people will want to continue the losing to get a draft pick but I have been telling my friends since the start of the season after New Years we will start to turn it around. We have seen flashes of what this team can do but it is a matter of consistency and I think that is about to take form. I really want to see Bennett get on track but I know that is just wishful thinking. Here is to our livers and hoping that the Cavs can start to figure out how to play consistent basketball.

Very disappointing, but also not very surprising.

On an unrelated note, I hope Bennett continues to get some time. He seems to be playing with more and more confidence in limited action.

Oh, and Potato Head better use that Dion-Delly lineup. No idea why he would go away from something that worked well.

Downtown is a nightmare, (as is everywhere else in the area). Let alone the fact that we suck ass and the Magic suck ass, it's a thursday and everywhere is snowed in. Not expecting a big turn out. If anyone wants to send me their ticket on Flashseats let me know, instead of letting them go to waste. (I live downtown and can walk to the game)

Definitely agree. I was hesitant at first about giving him more minutes, but he's been a pleasant surprise since we've been giving him more. Hope it continues.

Nah, see we had to sit Delly so CJ and Earl could get more time. Delly had some bad turnovers. Meanwhile, CJ is busy throwing the ball into the stands and Earl is busy chucking at will.

Ball Hard D Waiters

Good news is TT and AB are used to snowy weather, they probably get a +10% rebound bonus in snowy conditions
