Game #35 | 76ers @ Cavaliers | January 7th, 2014 @ 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Bro, he's not fucking running. Notice how everyone else out there is moving their ass up and down the court. Some guys are playing hard to get more time. Some guys are playing hard to hopefully stick around in the league after this year. Bennett apparently saw no reason to try on some of those plays.

That's not acceptable, ever. We point it out when Kyrie does it.

Maybe it's the asthma/being out of shape? ...or are we not using that as an excuse anymore?

Moondog nailing the behind the back halfcourt shots ha

Anthony Bennett looking like Tony Bennett tonight.

But Kyrie is awesome Bennett hasn't proven a thing yet.

It's not AB's fault. He didn't expect to be drafted #1 and shouldn't have to play like it. Grants the one who saw #1 worthy talent. He needs to play more, get into shape and just play his game. If you want to blame somebody for his poor play because how high he was drafted, blame the FO.

Don't give me that shit. This is all on AB. He came into camp overweight. It's his fucking fault.

Blame the FO? He wasn't going to drop further than #3 which was widely reported and a large faction of posters were very pleased with the pick. Many thought we really drafted the BPA which is all you can ask for.

This is on AB. I'm still holding out hope for him because he really does have a unique and valuable skillset with a great NBA body, but don't try and put his struggles on anyone but himself.

In a mediocre draft loaded with OK players we drafted the most atrocious of them all.

This was a fun game to watch.

He's Chris Grant's monster. Chris Grant thought he was the best player in the draft.

I'm not sure he could beat Lasagna Flop in a game of 1-on-1. I'm not sure he could beat Captain Congo.

Many people were on board with the Bennett pick after he was drafted. People here (RCF) really thought he was the BPA. Can't blame Chris Grant imo. Maybe blame them for how they handled the situation but the Bennett pick wasn't a bad one.

I love the haters studying Dion's ugly face to try and extrapolate a problem with him and Kyrie. He looks like that because his face was beaten too many times on the streets back home. That's why he's the one who had to teach these guys to play like men. Leave the fucking guy alone.

who's talking about Dion? even further... where did the notion of him "teaching these guys" to do anything come from?

unless you're starting from ground zero (or near zero), BPA is always a bad idea unless it's a CLEAR upgrade from what you have.

BPA in the NBA is the smartest thing to do. You follow too much NFL.

He was coming off an injury and out of shape. If this season isn't a wake up call then I don't know what is. Yes he is worse than advertised at this point but nobody on this board had AB on their radar. Obviously Chris Grant and the Cavaliers did. They took a gamble and so far it sucks . It's there job to get him prepared for next season so he doesn't turn into a complete flop. And yes I will hold the FO accountable for lousy talent evaluation.

Not true at all..BPA is always a good idea if you're picking in the top half of the lottery and think you're drafting superstar potential, regardless of your team's construction.

The problem is the lack of promising talent with the 1st pick this year, (a rarity that almost never happens) not the philosophy of drafting BPA.

What if BPA is a PG?
