Game #35 | 76ers @ Cavaliers | January 7th, 2014 @ 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How about draft NBA talent... Nobody had him #1, nobody!

Was there really a clear cut number one? GMs don't base their choices off of mock drafts on the internet, believe it or not.

Why is Dion acting like a pissy kid after having his lunch stolen?

His whole demeanor tonight seems a bit unusual...

Yeah ik. I said it earlier. He seems really annoyed or angry about something. Maybe he feels like this trade will reduce his touches and further diminish his role on the team. Can't exactly say he's wrong either.

What else are you guys seeing from Dion? outside the usual pissed at the refs

he was mad about something/someone on that pass to delly where he hit the floater. right after the camera switches and shows mike scrambling to the bench and then dion was out of the game along with bennett

Maybe Dion really does have a problem with Deng. :chuckles:

Not really. He looks like he is frustrated. He sure isn't let it affect his floor game.

Man; Dion must have done something to set off Brown.haha. Clark is rough....At least he made the last one.

Kyrie trying to give Dion props and he still looks pissed off.

Lol the hell is wrong with dion

Still looks pissed when Kyrie dapped em up :chuckles:

Yeah something is up with Dion. I think it's a combination of his shot not falling and the refs choking on their whistles.

who's talking about Dion? even further... where did the notion of him "teaching these guys" to do anything come from?

looks like alot of people are talking about dion attitude and disposition. perhaps you should read the whole thread before questioning the validity of what people are replying to.

BPA in the NBA is the smartest thing to do. You follow too much NFL.

no. you can't just put random players on an NBA team and win a title. you get the Atlanta Hawks of a few years ago before it got blown up w/that. unless the players are THAT good (i.e. Durant and Westbrook). there has to be some deeper analysis than that.

Wow that must have took a long time lol.

lol. The Temple of Dion has spoken.

most of those were valid observations, not "hating"... Dion doesn't get any calls, and his shots not falling added on... he's got a right to be pissy in that regard relative to his effort.

though that Deng comment was strange. don't get why Dion would even care about Deng coming to the team. that's less BS he has to clean up from the nebula that has been the SF position.

What if BPA is a PG?

It depends on the perceived talent differential of said PG and the other options. If you think that PG could be a star and no one else available has that potential, then yes you take the PG.

You can always make trades later if the piece is as good as advertised.

I think that if Bennett went 3 he would be playing well. The pressure has been to much for him. He is really immature. You can tell with him putting his jersey in his mouth. He looked good on D and rebounding tonight until he tried to do too much. I am fine with people ripping him, he is playing badly. I am going to reserve judgement on him and give him some time to grow up. He looks like Zeller did last year where the game was obviously too fast.

perhaps that was a more appropriate response than "whose talking about Dion?"

When Thompson was looking at Dions bobble head . he commented it was weird because it was smiling.. a joke but a little bit of truth in there.

Dion is an intimidator type of personality. he is out there at 6'4 drawing 6'7 to 6'9 guys as assignments.

personally i prefer the competitive fire Dion displayed tonight. Philly his hometown beat his Cavs on their home court and Dion and the rest of the guys made clear that wasnt gonna happen again.

Here's your post.

who's talking about Dion?

Torn showed you and you respond with your typical "lol insert insult here."

Clearly people were talking about Dion and his facial expressions, just like Optimus said. Clearly you said no one was. You were wrong.

Yes, you do. You draft best player and worry about the fit later. If you don't do that, you end up passing on Wades and Melos to get Darkos. If you end up with a log jam with too much talent, you make a trade, people always like talent and you can get value back.

Hawks didn't draft BPA, they skipped CP3, so that's a bad example.

I love the haters studying Dion's ugly face to try and extrapolate a problem with him and Kyrie. He looks like that because his face was beaten too many times on the streets back home. That's why he's the one who had to teach these guys to play like men. Leave the fucking guy alone.

I'm a fan of dion

I'm confused. Are you saying Dion was physically beaten on back in Philly? Kid looks normal to me, I have no problem he's not a church boy or the way he talks. I like his demeanor on the floor, Fuck everyone that's not in our uniform. But there WAS something that happened on the floor & he was visible upset/pissed off at that moment (right before the Delly floater)

And then he just looked annoyed when Kyrie dapped em up and patted his head :chuckles:

Just because Dion isn't smiling and skipping around handing people daffodils all the time doesn't mean he hates being a part of this team. He's pissed off a lot. When things are going good, when things are going bad. Never satisfied. That's who he is. I actually like it. I think this team needs it.

I was being facetious. Rarely does Dion ever smile on the court, and I'm sure he was frustrated with the refs and himself tonight, but all of a sudden everyone was watching his expression for some sign that he hates Kyrie or hates Deng or whatever. It was the same stone-faced expression he always has.

Idk where the Deng part is coming from. I know Dion's demeanor on the floor

7:15 2nd quarter is the play i was initially talking about. Rchfld mentioned it too

Bennett, Waiters or both?

I think Andy was already at the scorers table. Was it Dion?

Mike looked pissed, Andy was already at the table. He told CJ to go in & Dion was out

If I hadn't watched the game, I would have thought we lost based on the last couple pages.
