We would probably lose this game regardless, but if you can't see the Cavs got dicked by the refs then you are blind.
People tend to take things out of proportion in these game threads. The overall picture is not as grim. We lost by 4 to the best defensive team on the planet, on their court, with two of our big 3 playing like complete shit in the midst of a really tight road trip. I really think this game could go either way, if some wide open shots went it.
There is still work to do, that is obvious. By everybody. But to me, this game was a good example that we can and will compete with the best of'em.
Have a good night, guys.
Cavs finished 1st quarter up 32-20 and lost the 2nd quarter 24-18Blatt's rotations were dog-shit the entire second half.
He got up in the second quarter with Delly-Shump-Bron-TT and Love (I think). So Blatt comes out in the third with Kyrie-JR-Mozzy and heavy doses of Jefferson. Egregious.
Next person has shit to tell me about my criticsm about Blatt needs to tell me what he's done in our 2 biggest games this season. GS and this game. I'm all fine for giving love when it's due but holy shit some ppl on here act like he isn't made to look good because of his players. When we really need some Blatt excellence he literally ALWAYS fails. Last year in the finals, and now this year in big games. He rode LeBron for a whole year and nobody but me sees how useless he is
Mark Jackson would have us in better position right now. Idc about any personal and attacks in his religion people have about him I'm talking BASKETBALL. We'd be a better coached team right now if we had Mark Jackson
Momma there goes that heterosexual manBlatt's been disappointing, but I don't see Mark Jackson as the answer.
All five starters scored in double figures.
Two bench players combined to score 12 points.
Not the only reason they lost, but that's a big one right there. Their second unit thoroughly embarrassed that of the Cavs.
Cavs finished 1st quarter up 32-20 and lost the 2nd quarter 24-18
Meanwhile Thompson, Love Irving and Shump were all -5 or -6 in the 2nd quarter. delly and tristanplayed less than 5 minutes in that 2nd quarter..
Even if you adjust for the run in the last minute ne was expanding the Cavs leave.
WTF are you talking about? Aldridge is an all-star level big man, Duncan is a hall of famer. They went 6-15 and scored 15 points COMBINED in 62 minutes. Love did far better defending them than I was thinking. Duncan making that last shot--that was just a great shot, you tip your cap to the old man and move on.
Love and Thompson did their job tonight. They had 28 pts and 26 boards vs Duncan and Alldridge having 15 and 14 . If someone would have told me this before the game, I would have said we won easy......
