I just got back from the game (I live in Wisconsin) and I don't know if you could see it on TV, but they were TIRED. I talked with a friend of mine who works for FoxSports, and he said that their plane landed last night in Mil after 1 AM and that they weren't at the hotel until much later than that. Combine that with the fact that every position had to guard someone larger than they were (read: Boobie getting dominated by guarding larger 2s and sometimes 3s), and it was not going to be pretty. You could see it in their shots that no one really had legs. I still don't know why Scott insisted on the 3 guard two combo forward lineup in the 4th quarter. That really put us down because we had no one to rebound and everyone was defending a man larger in size. They consistently put a man on the high block and off ball screen cuts to the hole all game on our smaller lineup. We just couldn't get around screens and were just too tired to stay with them.
Also, to anyone who said that the trade made the Bucks come alive, they've already been playing better basketball since before the all-star break. Illyasova proved why he was player of the week last week. Also, it shows how much Gooden has been working on his jumper, he hardly ever plays back to the basket anymore.
