You can tell he's a solid player. I think he'll get it fairly quickly. Very aware defensively, just not always sure where to be yet.

Exactly. When they rotate defenders it takes him a second to realize what's happening but that's just a problem that will be wrinkled out as he keeps practicing and playing with the team. He indeed seems very aware and thinks a step or two forward.
As I write this he knocks down a 3. Great aquisition.

Nice to see the second unit come in and keep the intensity that the starters showed. Doing well on defense. Jones is not JR Smith from 3, though Shump is nice. Still, good movement on offense and good coverage on D.

They managed Shumpert's minutes carefully today, as promised. Two short stints in each half. Can't criticize him when it comes to shooting percentage.
