No, I'm sorry, but it's deserved. Kyrie was getting shit on on defense, barely even trying. He has to learn at some point he can't just play one end of the court.

Exactly right ...Byron is doing something long overdue. On these games where Kyrie and others decide that the only reason to show up is to make sure he gets his points ..it's best to shut him down and put his ass on the bench. He wants to be seen as future star, he's gotta start showing some pride and resolve to be a winner, which he'll never be if he has his hands in his pockets, and walking around on the defensive end. He's, quite frankly, an embarrassment on defense a majority of the time ...quite possibly the worst defensive effort at point guard in the league. Simply not acceptable. He needs to realize the team follows his lead, if he doesn't care ...then the team won't. Gotta change.

Fuck a W. Kyrie needs to understand that he can't only try on one side of the court...Dion,and Tyler too. Ill take a loss like this if it means that we'll finally get through to our young core's heads to play defense than a win in a lost rebuilding season any day.

Well, to be fair, I think Zeller TRIES on both ends, he's just bad.

You guys can bash Scott all you want. Kyrie Irving did not deserve to close out that game with the effort he was giving on defense. He just didn't.

Sorry. Best 4th quarter player in the league deserves to close out the game. Also Tristan had 19 points in 3 quarters and didn't get back in?

I can live with sitting Zeller, Waiters, and Gee. I however can't begin to explain how frustrating it is when your coach runs with an entirely D-League bench for the entire fourth quarter. He basically threw in the towel. We have quite possibly the worst bench in the league and they were ALL in the game at the same time. That's fucking dumb.

They should be punished as a group imo

The players need to hold each other accountable or they all suffer. It's very simple and one that isn't taught a lot because a coach usually doesn't have the luxury to do so.

Scott has leeway and he's using it not to just coach but teach which are two different things.
