Game 53 | Cavaliers @ Bucks | Feb. 20, 2009 | 8:30PM [ET]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Nice preview. The pics are hilarious.

If Ben and West don't play in this one, it could be tougher than most people think.

Luc Richard is a pretty good defensive player. I am looking forward to seeing LeBron and him go at it.

I agree that this could be tougher than expected. The Bucks have played a bunch of teams tough. I hope no one on the Cavs staff looks at the pics above....until tomorrow.

Excellent job on the preview thewuck!

I know Northstar will be at the game as well. I thought about driving up (Milwaukee is only an hour north of me), but I have another commitment. Therefore, the dvr is my friend.

Wouldn't it be great if Wally and JJ combine for 30 pts, 16 rebs and 10 assists?

Cavs win before the end of the 3rd quarter.

And damn, first Bango took a half courter off the nuts, then he falls through the rim, tearing up his knee...with no pads on the floor either. That's a rough day at the job.

We need Max to tell us that this one worries him...

I heard KG also strained his vagina during the game. Could be out awhile.

A vagina you say? The Celts trainer gets this excited about a penis, can't imagine how elated he'll be to finally be able to work on a vagina.

Sadly, the entire celtics staff is about the penis, not vagina. Fair warning if you plan on going to Boston Split, as you are a holder of 5 golden penises. You would be very poplular with the Boston celtics Staff. (all puns intended, lol) :chuckles:

4th quarter?

Sure, we've seen the Cavaliers play down to the competition before, but not tonight.

I can see this one being all but over by the end of the 3rd quarter.

I expect a good night out of JJ to follow up his pretty decent game against the Raptors. Get the kid some minutes!

Update on West and Wallace. We'll have to wait at least one more game to see West. :(

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West remains sidelined; Ben Wallace might play tonight

MILWAUKEE -- Cleveland Cavaliers guard Delonte West will not be available tonight when the Cavs take on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Cavs listed West as out for the game following their morning shootaround. West, recuperating from a fractured right wrist, has been participating in workouts, but the Cavs aren't going to rush his return.

Forward Ben Wallace has been cleared to start using his right arm, which he injured during the All-Star break. Wallace suffered a laceration near the elbow that took 14 stitches to close. He took part in today's shootaround and will be a game-time decision tonight.

Guards Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson will play tonight against the Bucks. Williams missed Thursday's practice with a stomach virus. Gibson tweaked his injured toe in Wednesday's win over Toronto, but has been cleared to play.

I guess he'll play Sunday in the Q vs Detroit

Great game thread Wuck.

Thats an Awesome Andy posterizes Bosh pic. Andy tends to step up his game a two or three notches when he starts. Hope coach Brown finally recognizes that tonight.

My take on the game is.
A) Potential trap game. Cavs better come ready to play and put this one away early. Bucs are feelin good and with detroit fadeing, they have to like thier shot at gettin in the dance.
B) A very very good oppourtunity for the Cavs to gather up a head of steam here, we could use a good long win streak to refocus the team, while we ease Dwest back in. This is a great chance to reassert ourselves with boston faltering and the Magic's Monster Mover that clearly puts them over the hump and ahead of cleveland? lmao, ok whatever, but this is a critical game in my mind. All the games that you are 'supposed' to win, you BETTER win.

I see this one going to the 4th Quarter.

Well, Austin, I not only see it going to the 4th quarter, but them actually playing the 12 minutes. My bet is that the team with the most points at the end will win the game.

Unfortunately, there is a behind the scenes story as to Bango's and Big Ben's injuries...and yes, they are both related...

Bango dresses like his obsession

You see, Bango has had an obsession with Mr. Wallace for some time. Well, this obsession finally got out of hand over the all-star break, when Bango was stalking Ben. He had his whole plan laid out...Bango, had his "very close friend" TJ (in fact, TJ is the one who came up with the nickname "Bango"...he thought of it late one night while they were alone looking through the Abercrombie and Fitch catalogue together) pose as him during the All-Star festivities so as not to arouse suspicions while his plan was put into action. He had the whole scenario figured out. He would sneak into Wallace's room late at night and finally attempt to make them "be together, as one". He practiced this attempt nightly with TJ, for months, until he figured he had it just right.

Here's the disturbing chain of events...

...Bango was able to sneak into Wallace's room thanks to a nice bribe that he provided to security. As he was attempting to...get with Ben...in a biblical sense...he realized that he forgot his oven mitts (they were still sitting on TJ's night stand). Not to be deterred when he was so close to being with his obsession, he tried anyway. Wallace, groggy, but realizing he was being assaulted, swung hard with his arm while Bango was trying his best Willie Shoemaker impression on Big Ben. Due to the oven mitts being forgotten, this sharp movement and swing was caught by Bango's paw causing the laceration. Enraged, Bango then grabbed Wallace's fro, yanking out a huge chunk. Ben, in order to protect himself from this Wisconsin maniac, then proceeded to throw Bango through the window from the 2nd floor, tearing his ACL in the process.

Both parties, realizing that the whole incident would be hard to explain (as well as embarrassing), decided to come up with different scenarios...Bango called TJ and told him what happened, telling him to injure himself at the all-star festivities to cover it up see the video, above). Wallace quickly came up with the street football idea to give him a tough cover for why he needed 14 stitches. He then talked to his buddy, AI, and convinced him that it was time to go for a new look...everyone would talk about AI's new look, while Ben's would go under the radar (except in Cleveland). If anyone asked, he could point to Iverson to deflect any questions.

Both parties promised to never speak of the incident again, but somehow the video got out:

Bango and Big Ben Fight!

That's AV's game-winning follow-up smash to beat the Raptors in Feb. 2007. Awesome photo no doubt.
