• Yes, Anderson Varejao is a flopper. Did he exaggerate when Charlie Villaneuva grabbed his face? Perhaps. But it was a flagrant-2 foul and Villanueva will probably be fined on top of it after what he did to Zydrunas Ilgauskas as well. But Skiles had an interesting take on it:

"I thought it was the right call because it was above the neck and all. I hope they launch an investigation to find the sniper who shot Varejao. I thought there was some acting involved."

Scott Skiles is funny, but he should have been trying to find a way to stop Lebron from blowing up on them last night. Wish he would have gotten to 60 points.

I keep having the same 2 concerns regarding the Cav's.
#1 The backup point guard play on this team leaves a lot to be desired. Boobie is not a point guard. He has been the most disappointing player on the team this year.
#2 It's been mentioned a lot lately- Boxing out and rebounding.
I hope there is improvement in these areas as we get closer to the playoffs.

#1 That's why Delonte is missed so badly, he is the backup point, sliding over from SG, when Mo sits. He's 10X the ball handler Gibson is.
#2 I'm sure MB will have the troops focused on rebounding, with Wally in there, we've played small a lot more than we have in the past and it is really showing in our rebounding numbers. If we get Joe Smith or Chris Wilcox, I think that would help tremendously.

Lebron went off in the third..that was sick...and yet the Cavs didn't destroy them after that..little bit of a letdown...but they finally pulled away..
And I don't think AV flopped when CV grabbed his face...
I do know this./..if he'd had grabbed my neck like that..he'd never do anything like that again..but props to Z ...

Man, I hope this is our opponent in the first round this year. They're like the new Wizards.
This game had everything, LeBron shooting like a maniac, fights, hard fouls. Good stuff.

And the Magic Number is 15. Can't wait to start the new thread.

Makes me wish players like Mahorn, or Rodman were still playing. Imagine if Charlie V did that to Rodman, Mahorn, Lambieer, or Ben Wallace. (Either throwing them down or grabbing them by the neck). Oh forgot to add Charles Oakley to that list.
