Game 57 | Washington @ Cleveland | Sunday February 23, 2014 6:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who's excited for the Kyrie Irving vs. Bradley Beal matchup???

I'm more excited to see John Wall get to the rim at will with Jarrett Jack guarding him all night.

No, because Jack is starting at PG. Irving is matched up against Beal this time lol.

Ohh lol. That's weird. John Wall is going to eat if Jarrett Jack matches up with him on defense.

So let me get this straight..all three of our injured guys, none of whom have serious injuries, supposedly...not one of them is playing tonight?

We're doing out best to toe that narrow line between winning, tanking, and developing

I have no idea what the fuck This team is doing. I can make a case that they are tanking, or that they are trying to get in the playoffs.

Sounds like we are headed for the 10th pick in the draft.

Well I think they are lying again about Varejao, just like last year. He's probably got a serious injury.

From the PD:

Just talked to Dion Waiters. He says he's out a "couple games" more, at least. Hasn't run since he suffered injury Tues.

From Finnan:

CJ Miles just walked in carrying crutches, not using them.

(does that mean Miles doesn't know how to use them? :chuckles: maybe he's returning them?)

I think the result of this game can really shape the way we play the rest of the season. Injuries to our main guys or not, if we want to make the playoffs we have to win this game. If we lose, I really think we should just give up and give Bennett, Zeller, Delly, Irving and the rest of the young guys serious minutes.

If we win... sure, keep trying to chase the playoffs.

With Dion out awhile longer, just move Jack to the bench. That was at least a role he was good at last year.

Have Karasev start. Why not?

Definitely a fork in the road games the next 2.

I'd agree. I'm not usually one to say one game defines a season. But this game is absolutely huge.

Cavs are 1-4 on Sunday this year. Including the epically bad loss to Sacramento and the second half collapse loss to Phoenix.

yes! this game is on wuab. dont have to struggle with shitty streams.

On a closely related note, they are 1-7 in games that started earlier than 7pm EST...

On the plus side, they were 0-7 in such games before beating Memphis two weeks ago Sunday.
