Game 58| Cavs @ Hawks | March 1st 2009 | 8:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm sure your wife will be plenty excited when that Bean Burrito starts "talking" again later.

Oh yes...I will let one simmer in the old dutch oven for a while, and then ever so gently ruffle the covers as I roll to my side...

The backfire from this 4th meal may even wake my bulldog tonight...oh the delicious benefits of refried beans.

Its the sanme thing every loss ..when will we get the ball out of Lebron's hands in these type games ...we know we can't have him 25 ft from the hoop dribbling the ball with 10 second on the clock ...how many years is it going to take for us to understand what we need to do in these games, and losses ?

WE HAVE A POINT GUARD NOW ....USE HIM.

This is why I still can't stand Mike Brown. He is obviously a very good defensive coach, but I still just don't get it.

Against good teams, we seem to do this all the time. Doesn't he realize it doesn't work most of the time?

I was feeling real bad until mo dropped that trey. What a guy. We lost our strangle hold on that team, but we were able to get d up and get them at the end.

Only us married guys can truly understand the awesomeness of this post. :chuckles:

I'm too lazy to go back through this whole game thread, but was anyone else more than a little nervous when LBJ gave that overly powerful high five to Delonte's right hand? The slo-mo replay seemed to indicate more than a little soreness in Brother Red's face. I always thought it would be Wally that caused an unnecessary injury with a high five. But DWest calmed my fears with that cold-blooded jumper late. That was huge.

Atlanta really killed us with their midrange game. Anytime we backed off the inside the arc they nailed it. They are also really good at contesting shots. We had very few clean looks halfway into the 3rd until the end. Luckily mo capitalized on that last one.

hopefully Dwyane Wade's nightly sex party goes later than usual tonight and impedes his game tomorrow

Just got back from the game, and I'm super happy about Joe Smith making a return to C-Town.

I almost flipped my sh%$ when Walter got called for a personal for being elbowed in the face, and then West getting T'ed up.

I was also screaming my head off after Mo Williams tied the game at 87

The Cavs were cruising too an easy road win when Mike Brown forgot about what a TO was and then he went with a god awful lineup of Boobie/Wally/JJ/AV/Lebron to finish the third which just doesn't work.

Please keep either Mo or West in the game at all times so that we have another ballhandler. Luckily the team was able to regroup when the starters came in but by that time all the momentum had gone away. The Hawks were looking demoralized out there for most of the game

One thing I've like though overall the last few times is that they are really trying to mix Lebron in the post more at least in the first half of games. Too bad he tends to forget about as the game progresses, but they have to keep emphasizing it.

I agree but this may have played a part:

The Hawks scoring crew mistakenly gave West a personal foul on a technical in the first half. The mistake wasn't discovered until the break between the third and fourth quarters -- after Cleveland coach Mike Brown pulled West out for the final 2:51 of the third, believing he had four fouls. "Something like that, oh, it just can't happen," said Brown, adding the team may consider a protest.

I would usually agree with that, but even i gotta say just based on this year alone, he has not been the most clutch player, in the past years before this yes.

Lebron is the better "all around player" he rebounds, assists, defends, and is more athletic than Kobe.
Kobe is getting older and right now he is the better "offensive player"... and that's not even by much.

i agree that he may not be having his best year ever as far as clutch goes, but he certainly kept the game interesting at the end today. He's still been more clutch than lebron has been.
Kobe's the more well-rounded offensive player, and he has more a killer instinct than lebron does. But i agree lebron has the better all around game. I never even said kobe was better, i just said he's better in some aspects, which he is.

Do you have numbers to back up your first claim? No? Is that because he isn't? I thought as much.

DWade IMO is a better fade away shooter.

So is Mo, but does that mean that Mo is better than everyone in the league that he shoots a higher FT% than (pretty much everyone)?

Now as somebody said post this in another thread please, this is dedicated to the Cavs vs. Hawks, and not the Lakers vs. Cavs, or more appropriately LeMVP vs. Kobe.

Do you have any stats to prove D wade is a better shooter? No. Is it because they don't exist? I thought as much. I simply gave my opinions, which, being opinions and completely subjective material, cannot be proven wrong.

Work on your reading skills a bit. I never ever said Kobe was better than LeBron. I definitely never even came close to implying that Kobe is better because he is a better free throw shooter. I said Kobe is better in some aspects of the game, and i certainly feel he is. I'll try and label opinions and facts from now on, so those who are not so mentally fortunate, such as yourself, can understand. kthxbye.

Just needed to put some people on blast. It ain't over till the final buzzer goes off. You guys expect to win games by double digits every night? Especially during a long road trip?

Damn.

My last quote was a good thing sir,mo hit a 3 at the moment.

Well, it's said the Cavs stole the game, but the fact is it shouldn't have come down to that..when the Hawks got aggressive the Cavs didn't counter...but I'll take that win..
One thing that bothered me was Murray continuing to post down the guard on him..with no one coming over to make him give the ball up..

IM sorry but lebron isnt better than kobe

Im sorry people,i take it back...I just was REALLY FRUSTRATED with the way we(lebron specifically) game out and played in the 2nd half...We just lost energy but we came out with an ugly win....I'm looking back on what i said and i should have never made a comment like that but im just disappointed with the way lebron plays against teams that clog the whole(OLR,LAL,HOU)

I hope that makes yall happy, just dont think of me as a bad person b/c when i said that lebron was still a great player..With that said lebron is a great player, kobe is a great player, just leave it as that
