Game 58 | Raptors @ Cavs | February 25, 2014 7:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Tyler Zeller clearly raped children in a previous life in these refs eyes.

This team with Dion wins the two games against Toronto. With Andy and Miles too we are much better than Toronto. Unfortunately, it's too late to make up for the debacle of the first 2/3 of the season.

Yea, injuries are bound to happen. The games earlier in the season, like the loss in Milwaukee or the total give-away in New Orleans...those are the reasons we aren't gonna make the playoffs.

Terrible end game officiating. Kyrie was definitely fouled on the body. Zeller's looked less so to me, but they only gave one replay. But until we stop letting the Terrance Ross's of the league stand outside and shoot uncontested 3 pointers we won't be a good team. And we really miss Dion Waiters. Really.

Please let it be offseason.

Really could not have scripted a worse loss. Run Kyrie for 45 minutes and Deng for 40 and find a way to not get any stops late and lose a game that was imminently winnable. Tomorrow could be a complete slaughter.

i thought that going after the toronto gaame in any way possible was the right move, since they're bound to lose tomorrow anyway. i'm not saying i agreed with everything brown did but the idea of going all-in to beat toronto at home in hopes of getting one out of these two games doesn't bother me. it is too bad they didn't play smarter down the stretch and too bad they got no help.

At least it isn't just the Cavs...Atlanta screwed in last seconds as ref misses a foul against Joakim Noah as the Hawks were attempting a game tieing 3.

The NBA has a problem...these guys are brutal. And when guys like Scott Foster are considered your cream of the crop, there should be no debating why people have no confidence in the guys with whistles. Huge credibility issue.

If I were a conspiracy theorist after watching the Cavs and Hawks tonight, my assumption would be the league is trying to keep New York in the chase. And you can't fix Knicks games without being insanely obvious so you job the teams ahead of them. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I just think these guys are terrible and they need better talent. It just feels like for every Kenny Mauer and Monty Mccutchen there are 2 or 3 Scott Fosters and Marc Davis's....

Fuck these refs, he was standing 5 feet away from Kyrie and just sat there and watched Kyrie get hip checked... But if we had Varejao, Waiters and CJ, we would be on an 9 game winning streak right now. Unfortunately, injuries came at the wrong time and we shit our pants the first part of the season. If we would have played the way we have the last 9 games for the whole season, I could see us being the 4th seed easily. Now I'm ready for next season since the playoffs are not happening and to see if we put together a whole season the right way next year.

We didn't get the win, but at least Valanciunas was a total nonfactor. He had a nice offensive rebound and putback against Hawes for his only 2 points of the game, but he ended up with the worst plus/minus (-11) on the Raps.

Lloyd's final thoughts column does a good job summing up this game and the outlook for the remainder of the season.

Beware of darkness.

I didn't like how they were defending ..guys at the top especially DeFrozen(YES thats mey name for him) and Ross wouyld get the ball and just turn in the lane with no one to come up and stop it.

No team can win consistently without being able to get stops in crunch time.

Refs sucked, but so did the Cavs defense.

From Elias: DeMar DeRozan scored a game-high 33 points, including 16 in the final quarter, helping the Raptors defeat the Cavaliers, 99-93. DeRozan equaled his career high for points in the fourth quarter of a game, done three times previously, most recently on January 24 at Philadelphia.
