Game 63 | Cleveland Cavaliers @ Charlotte Bobcats | March 7th, 2014 | 7:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If Kyrie plays like this, we will continue to lose. Al freakin' Jefferson was the best player on the court tonight - by a long shot. We have two top draft picks and Al Jefferson was the best player on the court.

But let's go after those ping-pong balls?

Hooray, can't wait to watch this team let down a charged up, sellout crowd tomorrow night!

We all know Mike Brown's offense is pathetic, but it can still be run better than this. That is the players' fault.

It is Mike Brown's (and his coaching staff) fault that Tristan Thompson hasn't been coached not to bring the ball down before going back up at the rim. It is his fault that Dion Waiters is running into Spencer Hawes because he doesn't play or even practice with the players on the first team when he is our second best player. It is his fault that at this point in the season we can't count on any contribution from Anthony Bennett. It is his fault that guys just stand around when Waiters has the ball at the top of the key.

Who cares anymore? The season is practical over, the Cavs will be in the top of the draft once again and have some money to sign a big free agent if wanted. Clearly still a work in progress.

This has always bothered me about Tristan. It seems like he does it every time and it leads to him getting blocked. I also get that Dion is still getting starter like minutes, but bringing him off the bench instantly puts us in a disadvantage to start the game. Playing Kyrie and Jack to start the game is not smart at all. I'm really interested to see if MB will be our coach next year.

Fuck me this blows. Bout to be a long drive home. Kyrie's attitude on the bench was awful by the way. Blatantly ignored a Delly high five once and just pouted at the end of the bench

For the record, since early in 2010-11 season, I advocated attempting to use the unreliable Varejao asset to to acquire Jefferson; the concept was treated with derision on THIS forum, and unfortunately, the Cavs obviously agreed. This was the type of player CLE needed so that in 2013-14, we would not be hearing the Coach explain how his all-star point guard has yet to learn how to play with a post player, as we heard with Bynum.

Bottom line: Bobcats invested the dollars and are going to the playoffs; Cavs are on the outside looking in. Still, the fault for losing this game is not on Mike Brown, its on the all-star Kyrie Irving not producing winning results in a critical game and having no answer for Al Jefferson with the unreliable Varejao no where to be seen. It's about the talent on the floor.

That's just Kyrie's personality. As much as he tries to be a leader, he'll always revert back to that when things aren't going well.

That's the problem - we won't finish anywhere near the top (bottom?) of the lottery regardless of how poorly we close out the season. There's too many shitty teams. Nick has his hands full this Summer...

Yeah, Al Jefferson would have made us about as good as the Bobcats are right now. Excuse me for not being excited about that.

The FO has made some mistakes, but we should be grateful that we weren't throwing around big contracts to veterans because we'd still be mediocre at best except we'd be saddled with those contracts.

CHA is an ascending team. Unlike you, if I were in CHA, DC, or TOR right now, I for one WOULD be excited right now, because I would feel hope and see progress.

But hey, we still have Andy!

I think we'd be a "better mediocre" team if we had Jefferson rather than, say, Thompson or Bennet. But we have always got hope, I suppose.
