Game 65 | Spurs @ Cavs | March 8, 2010 | 7:00pm (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Am I wrong to not agree with the no LBJ vs Spurs decision?

I mean, if we beat Milwaukee the other night, that would be one thing. But Boston, and more importantly Orlando both won yesterday. I'd like to hope our coach isn't taking the #1 spot and HCA for granted.

Spurs aren't going to be a cakewalk, but hopefully Mo and others show up tonight to help out.

Also, anyone have a Boobie update? Is he taking a 3 month paternity leave or something? We could use him.

Boobie is active for tonight.

Boobie is active for tonight.

Good! Thanks for the update! If Mo doesn't show up tonight, then get Boobie out there. His defense is better (has an easier time staying in front of his man, and I enjoy the ball strips he has demonstrated many times in the painted area.) Also, Gibson's shot has been spot on this season.

According to Windy, Jawad is in the starting lineup tonight.

Also from Windy:

Williams is feeling pressure to perform right now. Last season when he felt that pressure, in the playoffs, he did not react well to it. His first chance this season in Milwaukee was not good. Let's see how this develops. This is an excellent test to see where he's at after last season, when the pressure in the postseason clearly got the better of him.

We ought to be able to beat the Spurs without LBJ considering Parker is out as well. Give LBJ another game off and let him rest until Friday, or even next Monday if he needs it.

According to Windy, Jawad is in the starting lineup tonight.

Not to say that Jawad can't and won't play well tonight, but with Shaq and LBJ out of the matchup it is a great chance for MB to tweak around with the lineups.

Jawad got a chance to start last game, and if you ask me I wouldn't have known the difference if he missed the team flight to Milwaukee. I think he performs better with the bench unit. I'd like to see what Jamario can do as a starter. With our weak defense lately, especially in the backcourt, it would be nice to see Jamario out there so that we can start the game out with some athleticism and much needed defense.

Time to break this:

The Cavs have lost their last 10 games that James did not play in, a streak that dates back to 2007.

My money is on Mo shooting 4-18 and Duncan scoring 40 if he plays.

What are the odds of Mo playing huge minutes and Boobie hardly getting off the bench even though Mo is stankin' it up?

My money is on Mo shooting 10-18 and Duncan scoring 10 if he plays. JJ shuts him down.

This shoud be a better game to see how well we play without LeBron because now everyone knows how it will feel playing without him....mainly Mo, I expect a good game out of him tonight.,

Will LeBron win the player of the month for march.....if not Mike Brown needs to be bitch slapped.:chuckles:

People keep on saying that we have a chance because of no parker, but they DO have a guy named Tim Duncan on that team, dunno if you ever heard of him.he's pretty decent.

Cavs have a very good chance tonight. No Tony Parker to murder Mo and the guys will play better at home.
