Game 7 | Cleveland Cavaliers (3-3) @ Boston Celtics (3-4) | November 14th, 2014 | 7:30 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
you guys really ONLY care that we won?

This was a shit team. You dont see this as encouragement for bad play?
If a home game yes, but winning on the road isn't easy (especially since most guys on this team haven't been on a team over .500 let alone consistently winning on the road. ) Bottom line, I give them a lot more latitude for road games.

Semi happy with the win but to be honest something is wrong with this team so far.

LeBron pouting and not giving effort even though he scored 41.

Giving up 121 points to a horrible boston team.

Love again not being involved much.

Kyrie scared to do anything for 3 quarters.

Tristan continuing to be horrible on both ends.

Dion again becoming irrelevant and sulking.

And the list goes on.

I'm giving it time of course but I cannot remember the last time LeBron scores 41, we overcome a 17 point deficit, we score 122 on the road in a win and I'm more negative than happy lol.

There's some issues going on personality wise and I hope it gets fixed unlike our defense.

Dude, it is November. Do you believe that this "infinite" improvement is not possible?

Why be so pessimistic? We are seven games into the season.

Well... there's plenty of reasons. This is an ugly win for one. This wasn't like we played like a well oiled machine to comeback and win the game. This was a game of individual talent against a team that may very well not make the playoffs.

It's tough to admit to ourselves in the face of a close win, but we are one of the worst defensive teams I've personally witnessed with this much talent.

You cannot win like this in the playoffs. It's not like we are even making baby steps forward. We are taking steps back.

It's that simple. If we don't start playing some sort of defense, we are not competitors. Yes it's early, but that doesn't mean there isn't early signs that we are severely lacking defensively. I don't think a great offense brings us back against the top teams of the East or West.

121 points from the Celtics is unacceptable any way you want to look at it. If these regular season games don't mean anything... then maybe this win doesn't mean anything.

You make a lot of really good points here. I actually agree completely. I just look back to the 9-8 start that the heat had in their first season with the big three. I also realize this team has very little continuity.

Just considering all that, I feel like this team deserves a chance to bring it all together. I agree there are a ton of negatives right now, but I would argue that most of the time the most talented teams will find a way.

Call me an optimist, but I believe that we can figure things out as a team. One thing I learned in Lebron's first run with the Cavs: Regular season does not matter.

I just hope to see improvement. There were some negatives tonight. The one positive I saw is that our young players didn't give up tonight. Namely, Kyrie. He didn't sulk and he played within himself. When he had the hot hand, he brought us back in the game.

Second best quote by Blatt post game...."...I believe in the kid...'" in ref. to Joe Harris.

So Blatt's favorite players are Delly and Harris. Sounds like a racist to me...

The problem with losing so much like we did on the past four years is that it makes fans forget that winning basketball teams do not look like world champs in all of their games. Especially in the in the first month of the season with a team full of new players and a new staff.

Everyone with any sort of brain ackowledged that there would be a learning curve for the first 15-20 games of the season. Do people not understand what a "learning curve" looks like it? Here's an answer, it doesn't always, in fact mostly doesn't look pretty.

So on this learning curve, do you prefer we lose or win? Do you think that anyone in that locker room thinks that what just happened would be an acceptable way to be playing defense in the spring? Of course not, they know they need to continue to grow and learn on the court and luckily tonight, we had some heroics to actually also win the game.

But go ahead and rave about how that's not going to cut it in April or against a top team as if every single poster on this board and every single member of the Cavs organization is not aware of that fact.....

There are so many things I could ask about this. Do you remember a time when all of those things happened? Do you know LeBron hasn't been here the last four years? Were you even a fan the last four years?

Good point. Believe it or not I think we were spoiled by elite defense during Brown's first tenure. It's so unnatural for the fans to have the team be offensively focused we constantly freak out (me included). Part of the reason why we went to Brown was that we were so limited with offensive weapons that we were forced to do so. Also, it doesn't help that the best offensive year we had the Magic played the perfect series and beat us before we got to the finals and made it farther in our 2007 fluke year. We need to get better, but seeing James playing better makes me think we will get there at some point. Otherwise, enjoy the ride, truly no lead for the opponent is safe.

The Bulls LOST AT HOME to Boston. They also lost at home to US, for what it's worth? How bad are THEY?

The Bulls kicked the shit out of the Knicks who kicked the shit out of us on our home floor.

This is the worst argument currently on the market. Get a new one.

Giving up 121 points to a horrible boston team.

Not that I think we played terrific defense, but Boston does not have a horrible offense. Obviously it's only been 8 games for them, but so far they've been one of the more efficient teams

Didn't we lose by like 5? I don't remember this ass kicking you're referring to

Nah just know basketball is all and not a blind homer.

I graduated from St V.

Been here since the beginning, I just know basketball and right now there are serious issues besides scheme and learning to play with each other.

But time will tell and I hope it gets better.
