Game 77 | Cavs @ Pacers | Tuesday April 9, 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The 4th quarter was blatantly fixed.

Yeah, but were we attacking the rim at all? Did we ever get them into foul trouble and get into the bonus? 15-46 is ridiculous, 1st thing that jumped out at me when I looked at the stats.

I phrased it wrong. It should read "oh this team is BAD, let's blame it on the refs fixing games" and not our lack of defensive pressure or lack of ability to create shots and draw those fouls. I'm sitting here laughing at you.

Okay I don't necessarily think the league fixed it, but there was absolutely something up. Draw those fouls? Are you kidding me? Okay sorry I guess Tristan will just have to get harder

Yeah we were penetrating and were getting mauled with no calls. And I believe they only got into the bonus in the last 45 seconds, pitiful

I'm not trolling i watched the entire game. The only player who drew fouls was Kyrie. We have nobody else who is saavy enough on offense to do that, and when that happens calls will not go your way. It's common sense.

It's how the NBA has ALWAYS been called.

My game threads (all subbed for other folks) are winless this season. Should have known this loss was destined.

Zeller was very solid tonight. He should be playing like that against centers much worse than Hibbard.

For some reason reading this word made me chuckle while sipping my coffee. You owe me a new shirt Wuckster.

Yeah man we were. Tristan in particular was getting mauled with no calls.

Then on the other end, legit no-touch foul calls on Livingston.

It was definitely intentional.

Although I think the pacers just worked over the refs a good one tonight. as far as the questions about the game beng fixed. they seem rather plausible since you have former nba refs talk about the very subject.

but i think it was more of a matter is that some pacers guys convinced some refs that they had messed up those refs decided to "even" it out

Savvy? Okay I guess Hill was savvy enough to draw the foul when Livingston swatted the shit out of the air

Kyrie drew a call? One call. One. There were, at least, three other times were he got fouled, blatantly so, and nothing.

Hell, one of the more forgettable moments was after he soon came back in. He drove the right side and hill, who was defending a man in the corner, just reached up, grabbed Kyries arm ripped it away, and started a fast break the other direction. And it wasn't like a close one, where he grabbed him near the ball. No, he grabbed his arm above the fucking elbow, like as blatant as he could be. Nothing.

I don't know if I would go that far. We have other evidence that they are capable of playing terribly after holding big leads...

I mean tonight. Tonight we played really good and it was good effort, D and hustle from players. It's different when we play like shit. Tonight we wanted the win, and win was stolen from us. Of course we are capable of loosing big lead, but tonight before refs showed up, we played calm, smart and with great effort on both ends of the floor. Tonight was 100% opposite from Heat game when we loose 27 points lead.

The most aggressive team on offense is going to get the calls. Even my fucking adult league is called that way. When you have players who can get into the lane and create these instances, the refs will call fouls. Dont get pissed about the foul count when we have ONE player who can do this.

I swear dude you did not watch the game. We DID get in the lane, we didn't score in the lane because they were killing us. We were aggressive as well before that shit happened.

It's honestly typical. Instead of blaming the team and its players for how they played in the 4th, it has to be the refs.

Just because I'm a good guy, I counted shots in the paint. Cavs 33 to the Pacers 39.

I've stuck up for Scott a lot on these boards but I was disappointed in his reaction to the reviewed charge call at the end of the game. He didn't say a damn word.
