We let up at the end but the 1st three quarters were really nice. Mo and Lebron were the only double digit scorers but they were in the 30's. Defensively is were we won this game. Dwight scored 11 pointseek and 7 reboudseek:). Carter had a solid game but he was the only one for their team. Hickson did great. He played great defense and scored when he had the shot. 9 and 6 out of him is great to see. I hope he keeps up the great play.

God Z is horrible.

Nice win for the Cavs.

The only 2 things that stuck out for me in this game was that Mo was hitting his shots and being much more aggressive, and we played with a sense of urgency for 3 1/2 quarters.

JJ needs to get this kind of minutes consistently. We could still use S-Jax.

i know, but people are going to look at the box score tomorrow morning and think this was a close game. then we are going to hear about it for the rest of the season that the cavs "Escaped" orlando with a win early in the season before the magic were at full strength. Had the cavs won by 20 it would have sent a message to the rest of the league as well as everyone that follows it that the cavs are still a force

Is it me or is JJ looking better (or just less worse) every game. If he can hit a decent 15 foot shot with his athleticism it will be like playing small ball with him in the game. Also he needs to learn how to dunk when people are within 3 feet of him.

Guessing Van Gundy will be playing Nelson, VC, Lewis, Anderson, and DH a ton next meeting.
Interesting to see how the Cavs play defense in that situation.

Good win, we got to see how Shaq can affect a game early in neutralizing Howard and the team defense was good for the stretches where we couldn't score. It was also great to see Mo play great. Hopefully the start of something great.

This game means nothing

- Biggest problem we had last year was defending the 5 & 4.
- Orlando was able to stretch the floor with Lewis and when the double came, Lewis made us pay for it. Today, J.J or Andy were able to double or trap Howard because they had like Bass out there playing the 4.
- Orlando was missing their top 2 players at the 4. Lewis and Anderson.
- Orlando was coming off a back-back game. Cavs had a 4 day rest.
