In fairness DG was off in all facets of the game and not being aggressive. I’m not mad at Vert for last night but agree I don’t want to see it regularly.
I loved the aggression he just needed to pass to the open man instead of shooting it a bit too much. 4 or 5 more passes instead of forcing the shot would have been a better balance.
As JBB said after the game, it wasn't the last two minutes where the game was lost, it was the whole game. Then he talked about the "arrogant" approach of letting opponents play "freely" in the first half figuring they can always win it in the second.
Thanks RCFers!I appreciate his effort but sometimes if you’re not at least 90% you shouldn’t be on the floor. My college coach used tell us if you do the things you are supposed to in a game at high rate then you’re hurting your team more than helping it. I was at the game and midway through the first quarter I could tell he was laboring. That being said he should have sat out last night!I've decided to come back after all.
I admit I tuned out this one early. The Thunder were in a game with a billion overtimes that seemed to last until 3 AM, so I watched more of them instead. I've since read DG was apparently under the weather for this game. Obviously we'll need him at a healthier state if we're going to get back on the winning track.
