Game Thread | Game #7 | Celtics @ Cavs | Nov. 2, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just watched the replay..

It is hard to say the refs were not actively trying to get Boston the win here. There was a stretch with like 4 minutes left where there was a missed call or wrong call 5 straight possessions, plus the Tatum block on the end of regulation three that should have been three shots

And the guys kept their composure and still won

The only thing i'm disappointed about is that we couldn't pry Bojan in the Mitchell trade.

Also, I gotta say I love Scalabrine as a commentator. One of the best. He is super neutral and he always compliments the other team. I used to hate the Celtics broadcast, but not anymore.

I think the Cavs broadcast is really fun. But it lacks that analytical voice. And no, Fratello ain't it. I miss Fred.

Lol watch Grant Williams on the final shot by Garland just before Brown missed game winner.. just shoving Allen away from the board and not even trying to rebound himself, how is that not a loose ball foul?

Itsdafinalsecundsss duh duh.

Complete bs imo, throwing out the rules for both sides in that final moments just destroys the spirit of competition. Especially defense gets away with murder..

Also it doesn’t fing even out. Not at the end of game and not during it. Refs tend to go against the team that is up around double digits, suddenly they remember to call offensive fouls, travels etc.. instead of blowing teams up they get within few possessions and momentum shifts. Just set the fing criteria in the beginning and stick to it, you are not fing playmakers!!

I wanna see how good Tatum is without his push-offs and weak calls. Can he do what Mitchell is doing? I bet he can't.
Cavs looked like the better team, got more open shots, while Celtics made some hard ones. I hope if they meet in the playoffs they call it more even because refs kept the Celtics in the game.

Hopefully at the end of the year Grant Williams isn't getting more superstar calls than our entire group of stars

Grant Williams basically laid his weight on JA every time JA tried to move to set a screen. He had to shove his fat body off himself just to be able to move around, total joke and should be a foul every time.

Also the 2 offensive fouls drawn by bitch ass smart were bs. He hanging on JA and flops to the ground with hardly any contact, can't belive the refs continue to reward him.
