Gerald Wallace on the block?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yes please! G-force and Dyss and it's O-V for the rest of the league. The article says al harrington and golden state is a believed option for trade partners, but i dont see Michael Jordan biting on that with harrington's attitude and play.> Not saying Wally's expiring is what he's pining for either at this early stage in the season either, but who knows. Portland might be who he wants to deal with, plus he might not want to top us off for a dynasty in his own conference, but....dare to dream. Ferry needs to sniff it out definitely. I would hate for it to somehow include AV and wally for g force and a filler bigman since they have interest from the attempted signing last season for AV, but if Ferry has an inkling that AV will bolt soon anyway....then Charlotte may be the team to deal with.Any ideas?

I thought the knock on Wallace was that his shot was inconsistent? How does fit with what the Cavs need?
what about Morrison? Would he fit? and at what cost?

I dont think he will be traded until about 20 games in the season. The cavs are playing godd now with our rotations so lets see about a 1/4 of the way in to see what our holes are.

defense mainly...and he's shooting well, 19 points a game, nearly 10 boards, 60% on threes, 52% overall. he'll fit like a glove in this system. I wish i didnt see this thread, because i dont want to be dissapointed if he goes elsewhere.

I don't disagree that the Cavs are playing well and MB is looking for the best rotation. However, I am always leery of trade deadline trades because it is harder to work the new guy in that point...especially if they are intended to fill a major role...i.e., acquire a starting SG or PF as opposed to someone who might take 10-12 minutes....such as McDyess.

Gerald Wallce would be an excellent addition to this team and I think he is the perfect fit at 2 guard for us.

Wally for G Force is a NO DOUBTER.... Moves makes us better defensivly and gives us an even stronger bench

Id still rather have Mike Redd, but Gerald Wallace would be amazing.

Young player thats keeps getting better, very good scorer, amazing defensive player, but keeps getting hurt.

I was going to say, isn't G-force one concussion away from retirement? That concerns me a little bit. Otherwise I think he'd be a great fit. What's his contract like?

I'd rather have Redd, but if they were to get Wallace early in the season it would work out, I think making a deal for him at the deadline would be a bad move. He's the type of player that needs time to work himself into the system, where as a player like Redd would fit in perfectly from the get go.

Bobcats do not want Harrington and if the Warriors made this move they would have to get rid of Jackson.

The Bobcats aren't expected to deal for disgruntled Warriors' forward Al Harrington simply because he doesn't fill any of their needs.

If Charlotte were to get involved in a trade involving Harrington, it would likely come as the third team to help the trade meet league approval.

His contract is worth $49,312,500/5 years, where the last year is a player option. We should be 100% sure that he's a good fit and will not become the new Mr. Glass, because his contract will ruin our cap space in 2010/2011 off season.
