So check this out. Nintendo Wii released it's news channel today, and I'm surfing the sports news and I come across this.

Arenas said he'd love to play Duke and give up a whole NBA season just to play one game, 40 minutes, 5 fouls against Duke. Arenas went on to say he would score 84 or 85, said he wouldn't pass once and the rims are so soft at Duke it would be like NBA live or NBA 2k7 where you just shoot with one guy.
Apparently Arenas is still salty after Coach K and USA waived him and used the groin excuse. Gilbert has made it a personal vendetta to take out his frustration on Coach K's assistants D'Antoni and Portlands coach Mcmillian. Last month he scored 54 against the Suns and says his next 50+ game will come against the Blazers Feb. 1st.

Also in Arenas news he has made the starting position in the East over Vince Carter. Vince had Gil beat by 200,000 votes and since Jan. 11th Arenas has blown up with votes and beat Vince by some 3,000 to start over Carter in thei years All Star game.

Gilbert is starting to get annoying with all his talking.. That's all he does, he doesn't shut up...He keeps trying to play the 'weird Gilbert' card a little too much...

I think he's entertaining..it sure as hell isn't detracting from his game..

Not like Bron ditching the Cavs during a 5/6 slide to go on Letterman or having a Roast to escape the reality that the team is going nowhere and LeBron's having a piss poor year..glad he led in All-Star balloting that'll be sure to humble him and get him in gear

He's sitting out tonight with Iguodalaphobia...he doesn't want to deal with him on offense or defense...I told you all Iggy was gonna blow up when MeI left town..I want Mac to come in here and tell me Korver and other guys are the focal point over Iggy again that was hilarious.. :chuckles:

naw i dont think thats the case, he is just starting to get League Wide fan attention outside of people in the Eastern Confrence, id be the same way if i was slept on so much. and at least he backs up his talk.

I'm glad for Gilbert that he is an extremely good basketballer. He is fortunate. If he didn't have the skills, he be spending alot of time in some asylum.The dude is a tad nuts.
