Gloria arrested....

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I could just hear LeBron talking to his mother now:

"Jesus Christ Mom! I leave for two weeks and you pull this!"

You got to feel for the kid. How in the world did he get so mature being around such knuckleheads?

Let it go if you want Lebron to stay loyal to this community.

Never have truer words been spoken. As I said, you don't talk about someone else's mother. Some issues should remain internal, and this is one of them. You have every right as an American to think and say what you will of Gloria James, but don't think that LeBron isn't listening. Don't think he can't turn on the community for such a thing.

i too have a dui. I dont think that mistake in itself is that bad. You make mistakes and move on. But anyone who defends her kicking out the window of a cop car and shruggs it off to just another mistake is beyond ignorant. Yes lots of people make mistakes, but to disrespect authority like that is unexcusable. Whenever these atletes get arrested, you never hear about them disrespecting the police like that. (except Barret Robbins) So either Gloria is crazy, or she is a complete B I T _ _

She did not successfully kick out the window. So I heard.

that's how lebron was conceived anyway. thank god for alcohol. go cavs. go get another 40 oz.er of malt liquer and make it with another big buck. lebron II.

This is a public record, don't talk about his mom for being an idiot? The state of Ohio puts you on notice with the yellow plates if you had a DUI, so you are going to get talked about.

Mac: I'm sorry for your families undue suffering; however, never did I condone her actions. I don't drink and drive. In fact, I don't even have a car. I simply said it is the role of the judiciary system to punish Gloria James, and they most certainly will. Your reading comprehension skills are lacking.

otter: your post is irrelevent. I'm sure Lebron is just as angry as anyone, if not more, at his mother for drinking and driving. The only thing out of all of this which would make him not want to come back to C-Town is if the public continues to make his mother some sort of black eye for the city and frachise, of which of course she is not a resident nor employee.

I'm beyond done with this thread. I again reiterate that dragging her back into the public eye is a terrible mistake by local journalists and Cavs fans everywhere. I judge and lambast you all with roughly the same intensity with which you judge and lambast her. Let it go if you want Lebron to stay loyal to this community.

My reading skills aren't lacking. Its sad that just because you don't want Lebron to be "mad" at the community because we call out his mother for what she is, an idiot. Sad what people will do just to make things "ok" for other people just because of who they are.

Pathetic.

Mama James being insubordinate is hilarious !!!

They should've broke out the taser on her....

I didn't even think about that.

That would have been absolutely hilarious

he deserves to get tasered

I saw one of the arresting officers interviewed on the news, he said they nearly sprayed her while she was in the back seat b/c she was trying to come over the top of the seats and get at them. Then she tried kicking out the windows. You can hear her mf-ing them like crazy in the background of the recorded call to the station....she sounds possessed. She's was claiming this was racial profiling at the station.(((sigh)))

Mother of Cavs star pleads not guilty to drunken driving
Beacon Journal staff report
The mother of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James, accused of drunken driving and other charges, waived her initial court appearance today in Akron Municipal Court.
Gloria James, of Green, did not appear in court for an arraignment hearing. Instead, Cleveland attorney John Martin represented Gloria James and entered not guilty pleas on her behalf.
Martin did not comment.
The case was set for a Feb. 6 pretrial hearing before Judge Lynne Callahan.
James, 37, remains free on a $2,500 bond.
She was arrested about midnight Friday after two off-duty Akron patrolman, working for the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, pulled over her 2004 Cadillac Escalade on South Arlington Street at East Wilbeth Avenue.
Police say the off-duty officers saw James' car as it turned south off Seventh Avenue onto Arlington Street and ``almost hit'' the AMHA car.
At a traffic signal at the Wilbeth-Arlington intersection, the officers got out of their car, identified themselves and asked her to shut off the car and get out, police said.
They smelled a ``heavy odor'' of alcohol on James, said her eyes were glassy and she appeared to be disoriented, police said. When she got out of the car, she struggled with police as they attempted to put handcuffs on her, and then began screaming, police said. She was placed in the back of the AMHA car. When an Akron police cruiser arrived, she was moved to the cruiser, according to officers.
James was placed in an Akron police wagon and was taken to the police station, where she refused to take a breath alcohol test and a sobriety test and refused to sign the citations issued to her, police said.
She was booked into the Summit County Jail and posted a $2,500 bond.
Police have charged her with reckless operation, driving 50 mph in a 30-mph zone, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and molestation of police equipment.

Nope..Summit Co it is one and done

It's quite a wonder how LeBron James turned out so mature at a young age while being half-raised by this crazy woman.

Jesus, woman, you're rich. Just hire a chaffeur. That's what I'd do. Silly Americans.
