Goodbye Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I still can't believe that it's only been a few months since everyone, including myself, was amped up for what looked to be an awesome, championship run with the two time MVP leading the charge.

All of the stories about LeBron being "more determined than ever" and "having a look in his eye that has never been seen from him before". I also want to kick myself for eating all of that up and privately pounding my chest in anticipation of what was to come.

I envisioned our hometown hero bringing us a Larry O Brien trophy and then sticking it to the rest of the league who tanked the past two years to add cap space to take him from us when he announced that he wasn't going anywhere, ever. The Cavs had the best player in basketball, an owner who cared and spent like he cared, we had a bunch of talent on the roster that complimented LBJ in every way.

I just can't believe that that "look" in his eye ended up being him scheming on how to lose so he could get the hell out of town.

In the end, do I hate LeBron James with every fiber in my being and do I want him to fail and want bad things to happen to him? Of course.

But would I, with what I know now, knowingly take a time machine(which would wipe my memory of the last two years clean) back to the day after we acquired Mo Williams and do it all over again? To be quite honest....absolutely.

Watching the Cavaliers the last two years, playoff disappointments aside, has just been a fucking awesome experience, it's a shame it had to end how it did. Here's to hoping that we can figure out a way to put this mess behind us and become a formidable team again, and hopefully without waiting 10+years for it to happen.

When LeBron was on our team, I always felt safe. It's a weird feeling or emotion... but for some reason it's how I felt.

We were always going to be in every game. Hardly ever ran the risk of being blown out. I always would think to myself... "There's no way he let's us lose this game." We so often had the upper hand on the competition. Our team would never fall to mediocrity. We were always going to be at or near the top. All because of him... we were safe.

That feeling is gone now.

Vulnerable again.

Just some random dude dunking the ball over and over...

Who is that guy and was he better than Jiri Welsch?

If anyone cares, the song was
explosions in the sky- your hand in mine

That song is definitely the "So Amazing" for "emotional" videos. ugh

Great song from a great show (Friday Night Lights)....it's a lot more effective when it's not a d-bag featured in the video.

I didn't get emotional or anything. To be honest, James has cut me so deep that he is just completely dead to me, as are all the "memories" he gave us which turned out to just be fraudulent. If I had a time machine, IBWT, I'd go back and tell my younger self not to buy into this D-bag.

Just wait till the season starts and we have to see him in a new jersey, giving other fans his great play.

As much as we all hate the guy, he's an amazing ball player. I just wish him to fail considering what he did to us, but I will miss his play.. Anybody who says otherwise is blinded by their hate.

I will certainly watch the Heat as part of my NBA league pass, but any enjoyment will be purely based in their failure.

And just to be clear -- LeBron does not play for the fans. He plays for himself. He's a Hollywood bitch who wishes he was the next Will Smith.

Oh, and by the way, I did not watch the vid.

I'm sorry, but FUCK YOU for posting this!

its a good video with lots of nice highlights, but lets put this in perspective. The guy left, hes not some kind of hero. I feel the song used should be reserved for players who have passed or been murdered. I made a Sean Taylor tribute with this song, thatll make me tear up because a man was killed protecting his family when he wasnt even supposed to be there. LBJ was a great player, Sean Taylor, Reggie White were great players and people.

It's kind of depressing that now the only highlights LeBron will have in Miami are those of him blowing D-Wade at half time, and his mom giving out hand jobs for $5 bucks a pop to feed her yayo addiction.

ZJs anyone?
