I think there are a number of camps. I'm in the Lebron obviously doesn't look right camp.
I'm not panicked about silly w and l's at this point. If Lebron looked right, they could start 1-10 and it wouldn't concern me. If he gets a shot in low- back and looks like himself tonight, no worries at all. But weight loss doesn't explain problems jumping and dunking. It doesn't explain visibly being slower. Just the opposite, those things should be better. Banging down low would be affected.
If Lebron is Lebron, we have zero worries. I don't see anyone panicking. I see people stating the obvious that Lebron doesn't look himself, and those in denial acting like peope are panicking and wanting to believe he's the same guy who played in the finals 4 months ago.
He's not, and I don't know why? That's all. I don't think for a minute its age. You don't get old in 4 months. It's either diet-related, some type of nutritional deficiency that can happen after long low carb period, or injury related as to his play. Bad passes and losses are easily explained by chemistry issues and not knowing where guys are going to be. Running and jumping arent.
I look forward to him looking himself. Show me an athletic game, win or lose, and it won't be mentioned again by 90% here and we can focus on the x and o problems.
That it's going to be a marathon in regards to team building, learning roles, and becoming championship caliber is common sense. It's an entirely different subject than observing Lebron isn't right.
