How much better is the 360 compaired to the PS3?

the resident X-Box fanboy checks in once again, i can really care less about what a fictional shooter game like Gears of War or some other dumb shit like that looks like, ive got a Sharp Aquos 1080i HDTV, with about a $5000 surround sound set up, so either system is going to look good either way, ive never been a x-box fan ive always had a PS1 or PS2, and hopefully ill have a PS3 soon enough. so really what it comes down to is who i want to give my money to.

Why do you pull out my post as an example? That post was a direct response to A Mac's reply. So if I am dissagreeing with him, chances are that my post will heavily support a side. And because that happens to be the 360, you label me as a fanboy?

im not a fanboy, my opinion of you being one comes from your statement of offering an "unbiased opinion" then going on to say how the x-box is better in each category. i agree, your totally unbiased... and i dont like talking about money and shit on here, but the surround system isnt worth 2x what the TV is worth...look up a '52 Sharp Aquos and tell me what you see.

Well, if one inferior product is being compared against another product, it is almost impossible to make them sound equal. So, you think it is the case of a fanboy. I am telling you this is just a case of one product being better in ALMOST every category (graphics, price, games,online, etc.). But, I did say that the inferior product can indeed catch up in the near future and maybe become better. But this is how things are right now. Like it or not. Sorry.

I looked. And the average price is about $2,900 online. So what? That does not justify wasting $5000 on speakers.

I got a better idea for him. Instead of spending $5000 on a sound system, he should spend $4500 on a sound system and take the other $500 and buy a X360 so we would not have these flame console wars on here. :chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles:

Actually the 360 to me gets the nod technology wise over the ps3. Too much work went into innovating the cell processor and it really didn't pan out as well as expected. The 360 graphic processor is vastly superior to the ps3's with its unified shader architecture.

On the other hand the ps3 does have support for blu-ray movies out of the box and it seems like a lot of 360's are poorly built with its very high fail rate.
