How to IMPROVE RCF?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
PM me the link to the messageboard so I can take a look at it.

investing forum that bolds thread titles in threads that you have posted in. Certainly nice to know if you are expecting a response (at least for people like me who can't recall where I last posted).

If you don't mind getting tons of email (I just use a filter to forward them to archives in gmail) you could set it so that each thread you post in you subscribe too. Then there's a little check next to title of every thread you've posted in. It's a good way to keep track.

Any chance we can see all of our online "friends" recent posts without going into each individuals profile? When the deadline comes, this place gets flooded with posts, and it would be convenient to filter that in some way.....

Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

I think it would improve RCF if the MODS would just damn well tell me if we are getting Amare or not! :mad

OK, here's what is going down... just before the deadline it will be announced that the Cavs have traded ***shit, I'm not in the mods forum... /reply*** ;)

One idea I have is maybe some sort of quality meter for each poster. Either as a stat on the main page, or under that person's name. Something along the lines of thanks (or rep points) per post? Hopefully this would discourage a lot of the newer members from flooding the board with 10 messages a day that don't contribute anything.

You couldn't possibly be talking about Mdog could you? :p

That would be a logistical nightmare and too subjective. What is quality to one person is another mans garbage. I like to make jokes about Lee wearing womens clothing to work but others on this site may find that a waste of a post.

Just a few off the top of my head:
Negative rep
IP ban
three strike policy (starting now.. have a bad track record for insults)
IQ test to sign up

It will definitely improve quality of posts.
