I got some insider info on the Draft.

Alan Branch is def going pro this year and he would be perfect for our defense

no one can block him one on one....and he loves to play in space out at DEnd so playing in the 3-4 s going to be perfect

That would allow roye and Mckinley to share duties at the other end and that way they could be more effective

wait till you see Branch though...kid is an absolute MONSTER
How is he at playing two gap? You can be a monster at one gap, but then suck at two gap. It's way different. In the 3-4 he'd be playing a ton of two gap.

He is the prototype with added feautures...

Very Tall
Very Accurate
Freakish Arm Strength
Pretty Mobile
Tough Nosed

What more is there? We're rebuilding..why not get the most important piece now tutor him under a vet and let him sit until we've added more pieces to benefit him later on.

No I'm hoping he's our 3rd quarterback next year...

Anderson and Dorky should be let go...I'm not sure who I'd want...

Hopefully. I'd love to pick up a vet in the f/a. But don't really know who is out there.

Snake has no cred I or someone else could have easily addressed the team as he has..it's hear say and it's not a valid source.

I have no cred? I know. I just have a friend that is a scout. I enjoy talking to him every week about the Browns, and I just assumed that you guys would enjoy any extra info like I did. But I guess not. Oh, and I already kinda stated that it is just a friend. I did not say that I am a scout or Phil Savage is my dad. So you have to take what I say with a grain of salt. But I promise you, this is the real deal. Otherwise I would have not gone through all this trouble. I have better things to spend my time on.

You have a friend that is a scout but misspell just about every players name you have mentioned and other than passing on Thomas, stated the obvious.

On topic, if the Browns drafted a QB, that'd probably signal the end of me supporting that team. Id have to move on to another team that "gets it" and knows how to build a winner.

I guess we appreciate the effort, but we haven't really learned anything. How does your buddy "the scout" really know what the Browns are gonna do? Do you think Savage has already tipped his hat and made all his decisions? I doubt it, seeing that the draft is still 3 months away and there has been no Senior Bowl/combine yet.

What more is there?
Decision making. Vision. Leadership. Attitude (the team first variety). All things Troy Smith gets an A+ in.

Also, Chief Wahoo is right. The Browns' FO isn't going to tip their hand to a third party scout that half the league uses. That would be asinine. All they will do is say "Give me your reports on players A, B, & C." Anything this scout says beyond "The Browns ordered reports on players A, B, & C." is pure speculation on his part.

Assuming this guy is not an imaginary friend of SS, which hasn't been ruled out. ;)

If we draft a QB in the first round, we will end up starting him 8 games in after starting out 2-5, he will get sacked too many times, make too many mistakes because of a faulty o-line, and he will be labeled yet another bust because he's behind an incompetent line.

Draft offensive linemen.... please.
