Ilgauskas's Knee Woes

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Seattle did not have interest in Z. The owner said he wasn't interested!!!

Atlanta did not want Z either. Their first priority was Joe Johnson. Wow, stop making things up based on rumors, both owners said they were not interested! This is too much!

Several teams offered him 1 year MLE with wink-wink deals that they'd give him 3-4 year extensions at or near max....Z had interest in this as well.
Another dozen teams were calling Ferry about sign and trades, which Danny declined.

ok yeah like who? where did you get this info from? :confused:The more I think about this, you can't do that with the MLE. Come on man, this is sad. :thumbdown

:chuckles:

Its funny how sometimes people become experts based on rumors!

I'm not going to lose any sleep if you think I'm lying. I was trying to clear things up....trying to help.

We don't think that you are lying. We just think that you are making things up! :chuckles:

Maxiumus is an awesome poster who has access to inside information, which the average fan does not have. We are fortunate to have him choose to post here, and share it with us at RCF. Anyone that has read his posts over the summer and thru the season so far knows that his words carry massive weight. I for one am thankful he chooses to post here.

Woe to thee who doubts the power of Maximus..........

I am in the crowd in this pic, joining the masses who are chanting......

Maximus!!! Maximus!!! Maximus!!!

A team CAN'T give someone the MLE and change the dollar amount in later years. It is a structured contract dude. And Z would have never taken a one year MLE for $6.5 mil, for the chance that they may offer him more later.

I have close friends in the organization as well and probably know everything you know. But I work 50 hours a week and don't have time to post all the time!

Did I ever say teams didn't offer him the MLE?

Maximus is a good poster, but this is made up and I called him out on it.

I just got off the phone with a Ticket taker at the main entrance...He told me what was true and what was not.

I'm inclined to believe him since he works in the building.

"A team CAN'T give someone the MLE and change the dollar amount in later years."

That's not what I said. There were contenders that were offering him the MLE for 1 year. With the understanding that he would sign a lucrative extension next summer. Would have been a risky thing to do with nothing in writing, but it was something he considered since he desperately wanted a ring.

Again, my record speaks for itself. Why at this point in time would I make up a story? What would I gain from it?

"I have close friends in the organization as well and probably know everything you know." Apparently not.....

your record speaks for itself?

EVERY season ticket holder got a phone call in April about the renovations at the Q. The Plain Dealer didn't get to it until three months later for whatever reason.

A contender offers him one year at $6 mil - so we go $5 years for $50 million? Still a bad business move which was my first point. And Atlanta or Seattle were not going to offer him a near max contract - my second .

Maximus is right. Here is the article that announced Z re-signing... Nick Prevenas was the same jounalist who first broke the Hughes agreement as well:

(edit) oops... I grabbed the wrong article... I'm searching the archives now for the one I was thinking about... gimmie a few minutes before ya' bash me.
;)

Funny how there is a reocurring issue with Z bashers addressing the way Z looks and moves instead of actual on-court productivity and statistics... because as Harold Minor proved to the city of Cleveland, style wins championships! But its the people who bring up the faulted mistruths who are called out on "facts."

Sheesh

Oh no... Not Randolph Keys, he must sense when there is "Z" discussions :chuckles:
