Anyways, Ainge knew all along that IT needed a surgery, but he played it off and made it seem like the injury wasn't serious at all so IT's trade value wouldn't suffer.
He fucked IT badly and the teams that were willing to trade for him. Punishable offense if proven.

IT could have been ready to start the season had he gone through with surgery.

Also, what if Lebron didn't like the win now package that the Cavs got( espeically now that IT's injury seems worse than it originally made it out to be) from Boston and told the Cavs management that he intends to leave if they don't rescind the trade?

I would want the Lakers pick under this scenario. Adding Smart and swapping Shump doesn't seem like enough with IT out for an extended period.

Seeing as how Detroit hates their whole team, maybe IT could be sent to them? Then Bradley sent to us. Detroit is not in win now mode, so one would think they'd be more willing to wait on IT's health. And if they were planning on paying Bradley I'm assuming they would pay a healthy IT.

I don't think LeBron would have to voice that..any good GM would not want to be shafted in a trade..and Kobe is letting it be known.
 
Is there a time limit that the Cavs have after the physical to void the deal?
 
Options:

(1) Marcus Smart - point, elite perimeter defender

(2) Jaylen Brown - Potential on offense, defense

(3) Lakers pick

We can package the Lakers pick with IT/Shump for more assets

Swapping shump and smart + add'l 1st is enough sweetener for me
 
Ok so they were giving us a player and a great pick on top of IT when we all thought that it was healthy IT.


They win this trade in a landslide if we don't get Tatum or Brown AND another pick. I say that because basically IT can't even be counted as a player right now. Deal as is is basically Kyrie for Crowder Zizic and that first because IT is on a one year deal. He'd surely opt for surgery with us because Cleveland Clinic is world renowned. So it's literally possible he could miss next season then walk after using us to have his surgery



Hell naw Ainge we aren't the Timberwolves. At this point I'd demand Tatum.


Screw this dude you tried to play us now we need Tatum and a pick or this deal doesn't happen and you have to look IT in the eye and explain why you tried to ship him off

I can't imagine the Celtics will just throw in another key player or 1st round pick to sweeten this deal. The impression is already that the Cavs got more value in the current deal.
