Would of liked to see us make a run at Harden, oh well. The thing that sucks is we have all this amo and haven't done anything with it. Hopefully we will benefit down the road.
The Cavs need a Bynum type big more so than a SG. Bynum is the guy I hope we get.
Imagine that the Toronto pick that OKC got will be the #1 pick in next years draft....
OKC gets it if its in the lottery correct?
We have passed on 2 very high ceiling centers the past 2 drafts. That is not a position of value to Chris Grant. Besides, he just burned a #1 on Zeller this year.
no. it has weird protection - top 3, then 15+ iirc. which actually works out for okc cause toronto will probably be 8-14ish.Imagine that the Toronto pick that OKC got will be the #1 pick in next years draft....

Decent trade. But all it shows is that OKC's ownership has absolutely no intention of EVER paying the tax(If you don't do it for Harden, who are you waiting for ?) and I don't see how they can win without doing so. This kinda stuff is why you guys should relish Dan Gilbert as he would have extended Harden long ago.
Presti must have been talking trade with teams before tonight because that was very quick of him to trade Harden the same day they couldn't come up with an extension. Houston gets better but ultimately their core is Lin, Asik and Harden and Harden is the only one who has a chance of making an all star team. OKC I guess did what they had to and got potential in Lamb and that draft pick but unless they been shopping him recently I think they should have tested the market more and preferably closer to the trade deadline. OKC lost a huge piece of the puzzle and their best play maker and a pretty good 3 point shooter. Tough to replace.
