Joe has a guaranteed deal so the only way to get him off the luxury tax docket is to trade him to a team with salary cap space for without receiving a guaranteed contract back.

Because his deal is guaranteed for this season, even if we cut him before Jan 10, he would still count against our luxury tax number.

Wasn't impressed with Cook at all. He's way undersized and can't defend quick guards at all. He seemed like a negative player every time he played.
