Jared Cunningham

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Cunningham has the raw attributed to well in the league but his ball-handling and game IQ is where he needs to improve. I wanted us to develop him but I guess the coaching staff and management aren't high on him. Eitherway, Good luck to him.

Sad to see him go: I though we found a niche for him as a 3 and D combo guard. Frankly the team defense looked the best when we had him in there with Delly, TT, in the rotation

Sigh. We need young athletic backcourt defenders more than we need a creaky aging guy who can shoot 3-pointers. Wish we had tried to develop Cunningham...

Agreed. I still think he has some great NBA potential, hes a freak athlete who can stay in front of people with relative ease & he can beat players off the dribble, wish we gave him all the minutes we gave to Mo this season, given him a chance to prove himself & develop

This team just does not seem to give a damn about youth and athleticism. That is the opposite of the way the NBA is going.

Gonna miss him, I liked his upside.

The Cavs gave him more of a chance than the other 4 teams he's been on combined. No reason to cry over him. He was given a chance on a title contender, but in the end he was just a dime a dozen D-Leaguer.

You can't play a guy who is a complete trainwreck on one side of the ball...we can go and sign a young, "athletic freak" with the ability to stay in front of people on defense right now if we wanted to...the D League is stocked full of them.

Bingo, I get that people get attached to guys wearing the right colors, but you can find a Jared Cunningham in a heartbeat if you need one.

Man, those old guys on our team like Kyrie, Tristan, Shump, K Love, and Delly are really getting up there...that's more than half of our rotation at an average age of 24.8...screw youth.

We can go sign 20 Cunningham clones from the D League today if we wanted to.
