Javaris Crittenton to Cavaliers ??????

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
True...just none with the talent he has.

TONS of reasons! I'd trade Delonte head-up for him.... but that's a moot point. We can get him for cheap...we DO IT!!!

Lol... I think you've lost your perspective here..

Think about what you're saying.. It's hardly a moot point.. If it's practically free then fine, but your original post talked about draft picks -- that's hardly free.. And trading West for an unproven rookie without much of a record? I dunno Heath, I take the opposite position here -- there a tons of reasons the Cavs should be more interested in other prospects considering our finite amount of trade assets (again, assuming this guy's not going to be gifted to the Cavs -- which, in and of itself seems to reek of optimism bias).

WTH is wrong with you:

Mike Brown said I need Delonte on this team to win a championship, he didn't say I need a player to teach everything to build chemstry with and basicly start all over with. Nor did he say I need Javaris Crittenton.

Lets look at the Lakers, o wow holy chit! Jordan Farmer is ahead of this guy. Crittenton is a reserve, he isn't even in the rotation. Maybe the Lakers coach misses on talent, o wait the Lakers coach is only probably the second best coach ever in the history of the NBA. Damnit Heath I thought you might put some more thought in your posts after your little break.

Crittenton may be something someday but Delonte is something now, and a KEY to our championship.

I'd be interested in getting Crittenton. I'm always in favor of adding young talent if the opportunity presents itself.
Crittenton doesn't turn 21 until Dec. 31. He does possess some intriguing talent and nice all around skills that will continue to develop. I think his game could fit here and his size would allow him to play with any other Cavs G. He wouldn't be expected to have an immediate huge impact but be more of a longterm fit.

I don't think Memphis will just give him away for nothing though. He does have value and a team would have to give up something decent to get him. That's why it's probably unlikely he becomes a Cav.

I personally would love to get him. Not at the price of Delonte west but i would still love to get him. 6'5" that can play the pg and sg. Also lets not forget he was a rookie last year that was drafted by the Lakers(they know talent) then dealt for Pau Gasol. He could be like a Rodney Stuckey type player and if he reaches his potential he could be like a young Steve Francis. When ever you have talent such as Critt's talent availble im all for getting him. Just like when Gerald Green was available i really wanted him because he was a good 3 point shooter with major jumping ability that hasnt even touched his potential. I believe if we would of picked him up and had an opportunity to workout and play with lebron he would start to touch his potential and could be a nice sg for this team.

Come on Max, with Mo, West, and Gibson, we need to trade for a PG who is a career 27% 3 point shooter. It would fit perfectly with the type of player Ferry has been looking for at the lead guard spot.

Ohhh is that sarcasm? lol this kid would be great if we could get him for nothing, but if we had to trade Sasha (omg I just said Sasha) i'd be against that because he will be an important (omg i'm talking about Sasha like this) part to our team this year. You guys know what i'm talking about, he keeps LBJ happy, and he and Wally will get us that big man.
