Jeff Green: Old

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Despite hearing horror stories of him from other fans, at least the contract doesn't hurt.

Hopefully he plays his best ball as a Cavalier.

For the vet min I think this is not a bad deal for us.

So does everyone still wanna keep koby as our GM? :chuckle:

On the flip side this likely means Derrick is gone.

Jeff Green isn't some amazing player but he's athletic and playing with LeBron and Kyrie should really help him.

Good deal for both sides. If he becomes a key rotation player he will get paid next year. If not we only spent the minimum.

Fun fact about Jeff Green:

He has played nine seasons with five different teams and NEVER in his career has his team been better with him on court than off of it for the season. In fact, other than Memphis and a partial season, his team has been substantially worse when he plays (5.4 points per 100 possessions worse). If somebody knows of some player who has played this many seasons and has never had a positive ON-OFF, please let me know.

But as a vet minimum signing, he can eat up a few minutes here and there, I suppose.

I don't like it. Not enough experience.

That's not a fun fact Price, that's not a fun fact at all :(

Can't stand him, never have.......Rather have Derrick...

Green came for league minimum, Derrick wouldn't but I agree I like Derrick since he went to U of A

Uhhh, I think I'd rather have Derrick who is least young and still has some potential. WTF is this team doing? Am I the only one wondering if Gilbert is trying to piss Lebron off?

At 31 he's practically a baby compared to the other old vets on our bench. LeBron factor and all that he's worth a vet min considering it only impacts Gilbert's pocketbook and we still have the MLE to play with.
